juli had just just had just woken up particularly more bored than usual. not wanting to stream, record or join one of her friends' stream. all she wanted to do was sleep, but she didn't necessarily know why. she felt like something bad was going to happen and sleeping would stop it from happening. great logic.
she pushed her comforter off her face quickly shutting her eyes as the sun beams through the window in her room. she sits up staying still for a second, the blood rushing to her head making her dizzy.
juli pushed her legs over the side of her bed and stood up. she brushed her fingers through her semi-tangled hair and sighed, still feeling a wave of sadness and uncertainty flow throughout her mind and body.
she grabbed her clothing for the day and a towel then headed towards her ensuite to shower.
she turned the handle to a perfect temperature for the water. as she waited for the water to warm up she brushed her teeth. once she brushed her teeth she looked into the mirror above her sink, seeing the hesitance to start her day in her eyes.
she undressed and stepped into the shower. she let her hair get wet and pumped shampoo into her hand. she massaged her scalp with her rose-scented shampoo, then moving on to the conditioner. she washed her body and face as she finished up in the shower.
she stepped out and wrapped a towel around her body and wrapped her hair in another. she put lotion on and got dressed for the day.
she walking out of her bathroom, being hit with a breeze of cold air when she opened the door. she went to her bedside table and checked the battery percentage on her phone. she looked at the clock on her wall and read it. 10:48.
juli walked out of her room and across her door was clay's. should I wake him up she thought. she decided yes and knocked on his door. the only answer she received was a grunt.
she opened the door and saw clay, laying on his stomach with his face in his pillow, on the right side of his bed. he was presumably shirtless, only his shoulders were showing, and was probably wearing sweatpants. she walked over and kneeled on the floor near the head of his bed.
she ran a hand through his hair and he hummed in his tired state. she quietly laughed at him. "why are you laughing, it feels good," he mumbled. his voice was low and raspy, seeing as he just woke up. it sent goosebumps down her body for an unknown reason to her.
"i know," she whispered back, feeling as if he was too gentle at the moment to speak normally. "c'mon get up," she said as moved her hand down to run his blanket covered back.
"i don't wanna get up"
"you have to"
"no i don't" he replied with his eyes still closed.
she took that as a challenge and took the blanket off of his back. he shivered at that but still refused. she looked at his back and the goosebumps ran through her body again. his back muscles were very prominent right now because his arms were almost wrapped around his head, blocking out the sunlight, almost in a position that a student would be in if they fell asleep at their desk.
she placed her cold hand on his back and he whined. "no you're too cold" he dragged out the last word, sounding like a baby. he rolled over, facing juli, and pulled the blanket back up, pouting at her.
"you're acting like baby," she laughed as she ran her hands back through his hair, "go shower and get ready," she cupped his face as he stopped pouting.
"ugh fine," he groaned as she laughed at him.
clay grabbed everything he needed for his shower and headed into his bathroom. juli layed down on clay's bed holding her phone above her head scrolling through twitter.
about 20 minutes later clay comes out of the shower, his hair wet. chills run through juli's body as she puts her phone down and smiles at clay.
clay looks at juli with an innocent grin. he walks over to his bed and jumps onto his bed. juli rolls away quickly enough to not be squished by clay.
"what is wrong with you!" juli shouts as she sits up. "i wanted to smoosh you," clay shrugged, sitting up as well. "you're so dumb," juli laughed, shaking her head.
"i want a hug," clay stands up. juli laughs and stands up as well. clay wraps his arms around juli's shoulders and puts his head on her head. juli wraps her arms around his torso resting her head on his chest, at shoulder height.
they sway there for a couple of minutes. "i'm gonna go on a trip with my family," clay says out of the blue. "where to," she questions. "i think california. i'm going to see family," he answers. she hums in response. they stood there for about 20 more minutes.
she wasn't completely sure why but she felt as though that one sentence could be the reason for the feeling she had when she woke up. but how would that make me feel so sad she thought.
"GROUP HUG WITHOUT ME?" sapnap yells into the room, scaring both juli and clay. "yes, very much so," juli laughs walking out of the room to go make breakfast.
