just one more week. one more week until finals are over. and after that, just three days until clay and sapnap come home.

juli was stressing about her final exams, even though she would likely be passing all of them. but maybe she was just using her exams as an excuse. she was spending time with jack, almost daily. so, she didn't understand what she was feeling.

maybe she was just missing dream and sapnap. or maybe she was just missing dream. but why dream and not sapnap?

she didn't understand, but that wasn't her top priority right now. she was busy with exams and jack. or at least that's what she told herself.

currently, juli was giving herself a well-deserved break from school work.

her head was hurting from the blue light that radiated off of her computer screen. juli walked over to her bathroom and grabbed her contact case. she took her contacts out and put on her glasses that sat on the edge of the counter.

once she'd done that she grabbed her phone and opened twitter.

after she'd answered a few more questions she walked downstairs to grab a snack. when she reached the bottom of the stairs juli heard someone knock on the door. she walked over to the front door and looked through the peep hole. she saw jack and debated on opening it, soon enough she caved in and opened the door, "hi!" juli greeted him with a sickly sweet smile.

"hey." he pushed passed her and entered the house, heading straight for the living room.

her lips formed an 'o' when he brushed passed her like she wasn't even there.

"come here." she heard jake command, the way her name slipped from his lips made it sound like poison to her ears. juli shivered, dragging her feet along the hardwood floor.

* she reached his side and his fingers latched around her wrist and pulled her down so his mouth was centimeters away from her ear, "you should move out. girls who live with multiple guys are sluts."

"no they're not–" juli started.

"–argue with me and i'll make you move out." jack threatened her.

juli's heart sunk. she thought she'd met a good guy, but he just turned out to be a jerk. "please stop." she whispered.

"i'm sorry?" jack scoffed.

"you're hurting me. please stop."*

the boy let go of his grip on her wrist and she backed up a few steps, "wait juliana i'm sorry. i didnt mean it like that." his expression changed from anger to sorrow.

he stood up from the couch and approached her, juli looked at him in fear when she saw him stepping towards her.

jack tugged at her wrist and brought her into his embrace, she hugged back hesitantly, not wanting to upset him further.

juli wriggled out of his arms, "i- i have to get back to my school work. for finals and stuff."

jack rolled his eyes, "alright. i'll come by another time." he said, quick to grab his phone off of the couch and leave the house as quickly as he came.
