Melted Frozen Heart

Just a heads up. A lot of this will be a bit of a tale of how Rei grew up and why she's known as a very dangerous Ghoul. Enjoy.

Rei POV:

'Humans are weak inferior creatures that deserve to die.' These were words I've been spoken all my childhood without doubting them one bit. Growing up, it was always survival of the fittest with the humans on the bottom. At the young age of 7, I killed my first human. The thrill I had from it still sends shivers down my spine. As such, I started to get used to the feeling to the point it became a little bit of an addiction. As such, I gained my first of many nicknames. The Glutton.

"Let's see if my rustiness is finally gone." I came charging at Tatara for his Kagune to block my kick. I immediately used my forward momentum to turn my body and gave an axe kick to his face. He blocked this with his wrists and was sent back with some gashes, but it didn't look like it did much.

"I can see you've gotten soft Frostbite. Sad really."

Touya came at Tatara next to give a couple quick jabs before activating his Kagune to send a couple projectiles at him. The bastard kept himself in a protected shell of his Kagune before opening to a fist by Enjo engulfed in flames. "That was for the stike from before." His second fist had the flames condense into a blue color like Touya's Kagune. "AND THIS IS FOR DESTROYING MY HOUSE!" He sent the fist into Tatara's stomach to send the Aogiri member into the street.

"GET OUTTA THE ROAD!" A driver came honking his horn for Tatara to pierce the sad fool in the chest and pull him out through the front windshield while stopping the car with his hand. "Help...me...." The man died shortly after begging us for help before being thrown to the side.

"Why you decided to stand with these weaklings is beyond me. Both of you and your son are strong enough to help place Ghouls where they should. This is a waste of exceptional talent."

"Is this what you think, or Eto?" I ask for him to raise an eyebrow.

"Why does it matter-" I cut the asshole off with a large cinder block to his face and freezing the area around while his vision was clouded.

"So I can find out who I need to say should eat shit." I tapped the ice a bit before walking away. "I think you should cool off in there for a while......bitch." Behind me, I could hear the ice crack a bit before breaking apart to show Tatara completely unharmed. "Why did I expect that to work for a fucking freak show like you?"

"At least I know you aren't dull enough where this wouldn't be fun." His Kagune came out in an instant before sending me back into a wall.

"REI/MOM!" The son of a bitch came after Touya next to send him into the house through the side where Natsuo, Fuyumi and Shoto were.

"YOU BASTARD!" Enji shot at Tatara for it to be deflected fairly easily. This was stopped however when Tatara's Kagune went underground to attack the Quinque and shatter it.

"Power like ours is wasted on the likes of you."

"GO TO HELL!" Enji shot a blast of fire at Tatara before getting as close as possible with immense heat emanating off his body. "YOU THINK HUMANS ARE WEAK!? WELL HAVE A TASTE OF MY OWN POWER!" He grabbed Tatara's head and began shooting out as much heat as possible. "SHOTO! PROTECT YOUR SIBLINGS!" I looked over to see Shoto cover the house in ice. "PROMINENCE BURN!"

A massive wave of heat came out from Enji to surround the area. The extreme force of the heat was even capable to melt stone around him. "Unbelievable."

"I know. right." Touya came over to me trying to avoid the flames and heat waves being sent off. "Dad worked hard to get a move that could actually beat a Ghoul. This is his result."
