Momo POV:
I begin to see an endless void that seemed to go nowhere. "Hello?" As I call out, nobody answers. "Is anyone there?" In an instant, a spotlight falls on me with Midoriya sitting on a railing over top me. "Welcome all to the first ever Chimera Dinning. Tonight's morsel is a delectable woman from UA. I hope you enjoy." I start to hear an accordion in the background with the members of Truce that were Ghouls standing above me. "What's going on?" "It's as it seems Yaoyorozu. You were right not to trust me before, now you'll die because of your false beliefs." He snaps his hands for Uraraka to walk over with a machete in hand smiling at me. "Wait. Don't do this!" She smiles at me while licking the blade like a madwoman. "Hope you all enjoy." She raises the machete up and slashes down at me before everything goes black.
"AHHHHH!" I wake up in a cold sweat over what happened. "It was a dream. *pant* just a dream." On instict, I run my hands over my body to make sure everything is there before getting out of bed to head to the common space. When I get to the bottom, I see Midoriya and Uraraka sitting in the dinning area. Midoriya looks like he had just seen a ghost with Uraraka a little shaken up as well. I walk over to have Midoriya notice me first. "Couldn't sleep." "N-no." He gets up to head to the kitchen before coming back with a warm pot and a cup. He pours the contents inside the cup before handing it to me. "It's a special tea blend that my mother drinks. It helps when you wake up from nightmares." I take the cup and thank him before sitting in the empty seat beside them.
"What has you up?" Uraraka looks at me with my head going down to the tea. "It's what you saw, isn't it?" I nod at Midoriya's question. "I won't make an excuse and say most Ghouls aren't like that. But not all Ghouls think that way." I looked at him questioning his odd statement. "Ghouls despise humans, there's no doubt about that. But some Ghouls do want to change the fact they have to eat humans. I met a man some years back who loved a human woman so much, that he would do anything just to see her one last time." This peaks my interest a bit. "Love is unkind sometimes, especially if a Ghoul and a human love each other."
I start to think of how this would make sense in the situation. "Yaoyorozu, what do you think people face when half Ghouls are conceived?" "Uhh, I don't follow what you mean." "Ghouls and humans don't mesh right. For a half Ghoul to exist, the mother must either eat human food to weaken their body if their a Ghoul, or cannibalize humans if they are one." This shook me a little hearing. "Love is painful if your in this. No matter what the relationship is, people will only see it as a Ghoul and someone harboring one." 'That must be why Mrs. Todoroki went to Coclea.' "Yaoyorozu, Ochako, what is it like to love someone?" I glance at Uraraka who has no clue either. "Loaded question, I'll leave you two to your affairs." He heads upstairs with this as we stare at him. "Don't stay up too late." I held his thought in my head and the fact loving a Ghoul is painful for both. 'Why did he want to know about love?'
Next day Ryukyu POV:
"You wanted to see me Ryukyu?" Nejire walks in as her normal bubbly self while I stare at her in consideration. "Nejire, what do you know about Ghouls?" "All I know is that they look like humans but aren't. I do want to know what makes them different. Is it something with the fact they only eat humans or a weird ability they have?" She goes on her normal curiosity streak while I question my theory. "What do you know about a Ghoul known as Torrent?" She shrugs her shoulders in curiosity to my question. "What if I told you, I met her a few nights ago during a raid." "You did! What's a Ghoul like? Are they scary? Do they have sharp teeth?" I smile at her curiosity before I continue.
"She seemed rather normal to say the least. But a few things stuck out with me." She smiled while staring at me for an answer. "She had a similar hairstyle as you and a body proportion very close to yours from what I can tell. So I'd like to ask you, are you Torrent?" She held her hands behind her back while thinking. "Nope. Can I leave now, I have a test today that I need to study a bit more for." She smiled at this while I noticed something in a mirror. "Sorry for making you come all the way down here. You can leave now." "Thanks." She leaves with my hands shaking in fear.
