four Months ago, 3rd person POV:

After finding themselves inside the 24th Ward of Tokyo, the group of Truce began getting a somewhat normal swing of things. Thanks to some things they had, Chisaki was able to set up his lab down in some of the deeper parts of the Ward with nobody to bother him. Meanwhile, Nejire and Toga began to do a little freelance work to help keep the CCG off of UA for the most part. They spent most of their times taking down villains that posed a threat as to what Izuku has said with some help from Todoroki and Endeavor. Speaking of help, Kuro and Shiro had agreed to join them in the depths in order to help train Kendo how to fight as a Ghoul as well as share their information of Dr. Kanou. While they did this, Ochako found herself in a dangerous situation that needed to be addressed to Izuku and Inko.

"....I'm pregnant." This shocked both of them with Izuku having all the color in his face go pale.

"Izuku. Did you do this?" Inko asked for him to hold his head down.

"So we've got another woman that's going to go through hell just to bring a one eyed into the world. Fantastic." Rei walked in hearing this to sit beside Ochako.

"So how's your family holding up, Rei?" Inko asked.

"Fairly well. Hard for them to accept the fact we've gone from a refined family to wanted fugitives in a matter of a day though. But that's not the topic here." Everyone changed their attention to Ochako. "Sweetie, you're already aware of why half Ghouls aren't common, right?"

Ochako held her head down while answering. "Itori already told me what the reasons are and that a miracle would have to happen if it would even be born healthy."

"I guess now the part that we need to go with here is, can we allow it to live?" Rei questioned for Izuku to give a sigh and walk over to the fridge they were holding their food in. He looked through the fridge before finding a different packaged meat.

"Ochako. Are you willing to do anything to keep this child alive? I want to know if you're committed to this before I even suggest what I will give you. Since it's you that will pay the price, I will not give my opinion on this and support you whether you want to or not."

The brunette thought about what he meant and remembered Izuku's history growing up with his ancestors making themselves the most dangerous Ghouls to exist. "I will. I know it's not much, but this child is yours and mine. It's innocent to the world and was conceived through love. I want to bring it into the world and prove to people that it's possible for humans and Ghouls to live together. It's greedy of me to ask, but it's worth the effort to know the world will see the truth." She held her stomach with a bit of happiness to her logic.

"Then at that point, your diet needs to change to that of a Ghouls." Izuku held an uneasy look as he walked over with a thing of meat that was packaged in red butchers paper instead of white. "The syntha meat isn't going to give you enough nutrients. Once a week, I highly recommend you to eat this." Just one smell and Rei could tell what it was without a doubt. "In order for you to carry our child, you'd have to commit cannibalism of your own kind."

Ochako was silent for a bit of time before speaking up. "....Can...Can you all leave the room. I wanna be alone for a little bit." The three understood to walk outside. When she was alone, Ochako opened up the butchers paper to look at the chunk of human flesh in front of her. The smell made her sick, but she had only two options with one being a far better chance for her unborn child to survive. 'Just don't think about it and just eat it.' She slowly reached for the meat before immediately taking a bite out of it. Images of the possible person this was flooded her mind making her feel the urge to vomit before forcibly reminding herself why she's doing this. 'I need to do this. It's the only way I can prove I can help you.' She began crying as blood covered her mouth and was dripping down. She was near the end when she was about to toss it back up. She immediately rushed to the bottled water they had to chug one and keep her from vomiting before going back to finish the last of what was there. When she finished, Ochako looked in a broken mirror nearby to see her face covered in blood. Human blood to force her to accept the reality. 'I've...I've crossed a line. I can't be a normal person again.'
