A/N: HI READERS! SO, I READ THIS STORY OVER AGAIN AND DECIDED IT WAS TERRIBLE, SO I AM KEEPING THE PLOT BUT RENEWING IT. THANK YOU FOR 40k+   !!!!

I set my boxes and bags down and looked at my big house, the view was overwhelming.

It was beautiful. It wasn't a mansion but It was a nice home, it looked pretty cozy if you ask me.

It even had a pool!

I opened the oak door and ran straight to my new room, excitement evident on my face. I'm not sure why we have such a huge place, seeing how it is just my mom and I living here. My abusive dad left when I was 13. He always told me to act tough, I guess i'm just used to it by now. He was a scary man, with piercing blue eyes and jacked muscles. Life is much easier when he is not here.

I'm only scared of one person, my dad.

But he is gone.

He has been for 3 years.

There is no way he can find us, especially since we just moved to Encino, California.

"Your going to love it here, Scar!" My mom called. The happiness in her tone made this house already feel like home. "Isn't this place so... nice?"

"It is, Ma, I love it already."

I dropped my stuff in an empty room and looked around once again. My room was huge, much bigger than my old room.

After I was done unpacking, I decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. Our town was right next to another called Reseda, so I decided to check the town out, what could go wrong... right?

"I'm going out to see the city Mom!" I called.

"Be careful sweetie!" She called from the kitchen. I grabbed my skateboard and headed out of the house. I felt the breeze go through my hair as I glided on my board. These houses were nice. I am assuming this might be the poor side of town? It's really hard to tell.

"I'm fucking thirsty," I mumbled, coming across a mini mall.

What really caught my eye was the big snake on one of the signs. It was back and red, with some yellow stripes and white designs.

'COBRA KAI' is what the sign read. I got off my skateboard and went to the small store next to it.

I got a Gatorade from the mart. When I opened the door to leave the mart, a man , with a cigar in one hand and a Coors Banquet in the other, leaned against the wall.

I ignored him.

My curiosity got the best of me, though.

"Excuse me? Do you know if the dojo is open?" I asked the creepy man.

"You are in luck, I am the Sensei. No, it is not open, but the students have training tomorrow. Come at 2, if you can handle it."

He pulled out a business card from his back pocket. I scanned the card.

"Is the training hardcore?" I asked, never taking my eyes away from the card.

"Yes, we do different styles of training, like sparring, weapon usage, and move management," he replied.

I finally looked up at him. "Remember what I look like, I'll be here tomorrow," I smiled.

Taking my skateboard, I hurried off. I went the same way I took to get here.

I have to tell my mom about this.
