It was Monday, meaning a new week of school. I had bruises and cuts all over my body. All of these bruises were from Hawk.

Boy, do I hate him.

But he is very attractive. He is a handsome boy, I must say.

I put on a cute outfit and did my morning routine.

I straightened my hair and put on my perfume. I brushed my teeth, and after grabbing my bag, I headed to school. I walked downstairs and saw my mom in the kitchen.

"Morning mother. Haven't seen you in a couple days,"said looking down. I didn't want her to see my black eye. "How was work.. at the hospital?"

"Morning sweetie. It's a lot to take in. Especially when all of your interns are halfway through their course and I'm here on day 3. But enough about me, I made you some lunch do you don't have to buy." She looked at me. "Have a great day at school, I love you."

"I love you too."

With that, I took my lunch from her and was off to school.

I walked in to people staring. Some looked scared. Some looked shocked. Others were checking me out.

I was walking in the halls when I was tapped on a shoulder by someone. I turned around to see a pretty brunette girl. I didn't look up to see her eyes because I didn't want her to see the bruises.

"I'm Sam." The girl said.

"Scarlett, but you can call me Scar," I said looking at the ground. I was still in the middle of the hall way so everyone was passing by. Some people were already staring at me, like Cobra Kai. Thye were in a little huddle looking at me, like a pack ready to strike.

"You can look up at me I don't bite," She laughed.

I reluctantly lifted my head up to face her. My black eye was visible when I picked my head up.

She gasped.

"Who did that to you?!" She practically yelled. All heads turned. The Cobra Kai members were already facing me and listening to our conversation.

"No one."

She grabbed my shoulders, making me wince in pain. I had a bruise there.

"Who. did. this. to. you?" She asked more sternly. Now more heads turned.

"No one."

I pushed her off of me. She fell down on the hard tile. "Why do you care anyway, I don't even know you."

"I just had to make sure it wasn't Cobra Kai. They are hurting innocent people and my assumption aas that they beat you up, it worse." She got up, "i'm sorry."

"Alright, i'm sorry for pushing you. I wasn't sure of what you were trying to do, have a nice day, Sam."

I walked into first period. All eyes were on me.

Not sure why.

I sat down in the far back of the classroom. I sat down and was so caught up in my thoughts. I snapped out of it when I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was a scrawny boy with dark hair.

"I'm Demetri," He blurted. "Uh, It's nice to meet you."

"Scarlett, but you can call me Scar," I smiled.

The lanky boy sat down next to me and took out his binder.

"Psst..'' I heard. I turned to see Demetri.

"I, Uh, I need a pencil," He stated. I took out my pencil case and gave him one.

"Are you okay?" He asked.
I replied with a nod, "why do you ask?"

"Your eye, it's bruised. And your arm is cut. I was making sure you were alright." He sighed, turning his attention to me. "Study shows that if you don't bandage a cut, trillions of bacteria can go into the wound, causing infection, fatigue, nausea, and flesh decay."

My eyebrows knitted, "are you for real?"

"Yes! You might want to have that checked out," he grimaced.

I rose my hand, "may I got to the nurse?"
