When class ended, I ran to Hawk. "Are you alright, Eli?"
He looked at me, or looked down at me, and said: " I don't like you hanging with Demetri."
Confusion was evident on my face. "Who are you to say that, my boyfriend?"
"I'm not your boyfriend. I will never be your boyfriend. But he is the rival, the enemy."
What?
"You didn't know?" He asked, before sighing and pulling me toward his locker. "In Cobra Kai, Johnny Lawrence's rival runs a different dojo, Miyagi-Do. It separated students, and with the sensei's hatred for each other, it made the Cobra Kai students hate the Miyagi-Dos. Vice versa. Demetri is in Miyagi-Do, Scarlett..."
"So I can't have friends on the other side?"
"Correct."
I looked down, "oh."

I woke up the next morning to my alarm screaming at me to wake up. I hit it, to make it stop but it kept beeping. I groaned and threw it across the room

I arrived at school and entered the school doors. All eyes shifted in my direction. All the boys stopped and stared.
I walked over to the Cobras.
"Hey!" I exclaimed.
"Scarlett!!" All of them pulled me into a group hug. "Did you guys miss me? I asked.
"Why haven't you been at the dojo?" Mitch asked.
"I've been lazy," I thought.
"Oh, lots of studying. And my mom has not been feeling well." LIE. But I am coming to this practice. I promise." TRUTH.
I haven't been in the mood to do anything revolving around karate in the last week.
But I promised them, I will go to the dojo today.
