I skated back home after the incident. I was really looking forward to join a karate dojo. I have been doing karate most of my life.

I got home and laid in bed. I kind of wanted o join Cobra Kai. I opened my laptop and looked up the dojo. They had lessons at 3 o' clock tomorrow. I put my laptop aside and went to bed, dreading the day to
come.

I had my first day at West Valley High today. I was kind of nervous, I didn't want ti meet new kids. Right now, I miss home. I did my hair and put on my outfit, let's hope I do not get dress coded.

I looked in the mirror,.

"Damn I look good," I thought. I did my morning routine, which was brushing my teeth, combing my hair, and face essentials. I got my backpack off the floor and headed off to school. My skateboard was leaned against the garage door. I hopped on my skateboard and skated away from my house. My mom wasnt home since it was her first day at her new job.

I arrive at a big building, the very large building.

'WEST VALLEY HIGH' was written on the front of it. I walked in through the doors and ALL eyes were on me. I made my way to the office and got my schedule. I was looking down at my schedule when I hit into someone.

"You better watch where you're going, PRINCESS!" He yelled. He had a big mohawk and a scar on his upper lip. He had grey eyes and was very tall. I couldn't help but burst out laughing. He has no clue who he is messing with.

"I'm so Sorry," I said as I was still laughing. "I didn't know that YOU were the boss around here."

"What are you laughing at, huh?" He asked annoyed.

"Nothing," I said calming myself down. I couldn't help but smile. I was not intimidated one bit, who does he think he is.

I pushed past him and made it to my first class. I was minding my own business when a boy sat next to me.

"I'm Miguel. I am guessing your new?" He asked.

"Yes I am. I am Scarlett, but you can call me Scar,"I said with confidence.

"I saw what happened with Hawk in the hallway." His eyes looked down at the desk and back at me.

"Who?

"Hawk. The guy with the spiky hair," he replied with a chuckle.

"Ahh... yeah, he was weird," I laughed. He smiled and looked away.

"Please welcome our new student, Scarlett Carina," the teacher said.

All eyes were on me.. again.

I waved and everyone looked back at the teacher. I took out my binder and started to write down what she was saying, I was interested in the topic, but fuck, this class is boring.

Ive always had good grades. My secret? Note-taking.

The bell rang and class was finished.

"Finally," I laughed to myself.

I packed my things and left the beige classroom.

"Let me have your number, Scar," I heard behind me. It was Miguel. Why does he need my number?

I chuckled, "why do you need it?"

"I want to get to know you."

"Reasonable answer," I thought.

"I will give my number to you..under one condition," I said with a smirk.

"What is it?" He replied hesitantly.

"You let me sit with you at lunch because I know absolutely no one here, and I do not want to be awkward and make friends. You are the closest thing I got," I replied.

"Deal."

The lunch room was big, a little too big for my liking. It was filled with students, students that I'm not familiar with.

I do not like this, not one bit.

Miguel came up to me as soon as he saw me enter the room. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me over to his table with his friends. I was dragged over smiling until I saw Hawk. My warm smile turned into a grimace as I saw him.

"Guys, this is Scarlett. She is going to sit with us."

I wasn't listening to what he was saying because I was making faces at  at Hawk like a child. He made the same faces back. We were acting like two children fighting over a toy in a sandbox. I sat down and didn't talk much. I just looked at my phone the whole time. I didn't want to talk. I didn't want to interact. I looked up from the brightness of my and saw all the boys at the table staring at me.

"What's wrong?" I asked, startled by the sudden stares and hateful looks.

"Were you the one who was laughing Hawk in the hallway this morning?" One boy glared.

"Yes, that was me, why do you ask?" I replied simply.

"That was a big mistake you made sweetheart," another replied.

I just nodded my head slowly. What was I supposed to do?

I had a ton of homework and it was only my first day! That is bullshit. I did my homework and laid on my bed, which didn't feel the same since I moved to the new house.

But I needed rest, today was rough. I was so deep in my thoughts as my head rested against my silk pillow. I thought about Hawk...Miguel...Cobra Kai- OH SHIT! I HAVE TO GET TO THE DOJO! I ran to put on some workout clothes and headed to the strip mall where Cobra Kai is located. I skated and didn't stop until I got there. I didn't want to be late on my first day. I finally arrived at 1:54.

"That was a close one," I whispered.

I walked in to see people stretching. All eyes turned to me. That is when I saw him and his ridiculous hair.
