I woke up at 7 AM because I had to get ready for karate. I put on my favorite leggings and tang-top.

Since I didn't have a car, I grabbed my skateboard and headed out.

When I arrived at the dojo, everyone turned their heads to face me. I looked around, slid my shoes off and sat on the mat.

I talked with Tory and Aisha while we stretched, waiting for class to begin. The door bell jangled, meaning someone had walked in. All eyes turned to see a blonde older man walk into the dojo. We made eye contact and he asked...

"Who the hell are you?"

"I'm a new student." I forced a smile on my face. He stared at me for a second, with a squint. I kept the smile on my face until he looked away. My face went from smiling to dull when he walked away.

HAWK POV
She watched as Sensei Lawrence walked away. I couldn't take my eyes off her, for
some strange reason...

"Are you staring at Scarlett?" Mitch asked.

"No why would I look at her? I hate that ugly bitch.."

Lie.

I could look at her for ages. I didn't hate her. She reminded myself of me in a way.
Think about it...

We are both competitive.

We are both intimidating.

We are both stupid hot.

...Wait- she- she isn't hot. Ok, maybe a little.

You get what I am saying. We are exactly alike.

How can someone hate her? She was beautiful. Well, her personality revolves around confidence but still.

She really was breathtaking.

SCARLETT POV
"Are you looking at Scarlett?" I heard a big boy named Mitch say. I turned around when I heard my name. He was talking to Hawk. He replied to Mitch but I didn't hear what he whispered in his ear.

"Everybody, get your gis on. Training starts in 5 minutes," The blonde named Johnny Lawrence demanded. He was another sensei at Cobra Kai.

2 Sensei's. Cool.

Everybody shared confused glances when we heard Sensei Lawrence's command. We were told not to wear our gi today.

"What's wrong?" Sensei asked when he saw our confused faces.

"N-Nothings wrong. I-I just thought we were going to the woods for special training today," Miguel stuttered.

"What's happening in the woods?" Sensei Lawrence whispered to Kreese.

What the fuck is this shit management?

"Well, I thought it would be a good time to separate the men from the boys," Kreese paused. "And the girls too, I suppose."

Kreese patted Johnnys back, "Coyote Creek."

The two senseis whispered back in forth. Eventally, Sensei Lawrence gave in and let us go to Coyote Creek.

Yippee.

We arrived at Coyote Creek and were separated into 2 teams. Red and Black.

I was on the black team with Miguel and Tory. Ieht the team I was in, I was able to beat Hawk, again. I smiled sarcastically at him, sending a princess wave and a toothy grin.

He mouthed, "you're my next target."

"Good thing I'm hard to get."

"Gentlemen, Ladies. Welcome to Coyote Creek. You have been split into two teams," Kreese explained. "The goal is to capture as many headbands from the other team as possible."

He looked at the two teams and continued speaking. "Today, the people across from you are not your friends. Their not your brothers. They are the enemy. The last team standing wins." He was about to say something else when a fat man barged over and stood in line.

"Hey guys! Sorry I'm late! Traffic on 118 was a real bitch," He stated out of breath.

"I put Coyote Creek in the 'nav', nothing came up."

"What did you do to yourself?" Sensei Lawrence asked him.

"Oh the..." He pointed to his beard that was in a swirl on his chin. "You know, I decided to flip the script, Hawk style. You can now refer to me as Stingray," He said.

I snickered a little bit. Stingray heard and pointed at me.

"Who is this?" He asked.

"This is Scarlett. She is a new student." Kreese put his hand on my shoulder.

He looked at each and every one of us. "Who here has what it takes to win? We will find out st the end of practice." A long pause. "Begin." Is all he said before he sent us on our way to start the game.
_
I was walking around the woods, when I heard footsteps behind me, and my instinct was to get in a stance. I quickly turned around to see who it was. It was a scrawny kid that I saw a couple of times at school before.

He literally just stood there, like he was waiting for something.

"Are we here to mingle, or can I kick your ass?" I inched closer.

"Uh- I- I was waiting for you to strike first.."

"Very well."

I roundhouse kicked him in the face, causing him to fall back. I straddled him and punched him.

Hard.

Blood spit out of his mouth as I snatched the red headband off of him. He slowly got up and returned to the place the Sensei's were standing by.

We'll call it the base.

I looked back at where the boy walked and saw a couple of people from my teams standing there, with no headband.

Weak.

How are they in Cobra Kai? I snapped out of my thoughts and continued running through the woods.

I got other peoples red headbands in the matter of 5 minutes. They were all easy to fight. Some of them didn't even fight back.

I heard rustling in the trees and I looked up. I saw Hawk in a tree like a weirdo, does he have a seat to get down? I was thankful that He didn't see me though. He had his eye on one of my teammates.
I watched as the boy, Mitch, walked below the tree Hawk was in. Hawk jumped down and tackled Mitch, swiping his band off in an instant.

He turned away and didn't notice me. I went the other way to avoid all contact with him.

He can be beat at the end.

I passed where the 'base' was once again. I looked over to see everyone from the dojo standing there.

Everyone besides Hawk.

It was just us left. I continued running, the sounds of twigs and leaves underneath me was calming. I could feel Kreese's eyes on my as I ran, and I didn't like it.

I slowed down to catch my breath when I heard footsteps coming toward me. I turned around to see the one and only.

Hawk.
