Young Camille Kamdev is hoping on her sixteen birthday she'll magically wake up as a zit-less, sassy, grown-up goddess, one babes will fall in love with because she finally has it, whatever 'it' is. That or the God of...

Cammy couldn't help it. Today was the day Becca had left to attend a wedding as Reggie's date. She had left with the Garcia family at midday. Excited wasn't even the word to describe how Becca had sounded on the phone, demanding Cammy come at once to help her decide what to pack for the trip.
When Cammy arrived within a minute of Becca having hung up, her friend had asked, "What did you do? Fly here?"
Which wasn't entirely a wrong summation—not that Becca knew it. Cammy had to agree with her mentor on this one. She needed more flight practice, and practice makes perfect—right? So yes, she'd flown there, if flapping about like an uncouth bird just learning it had wings, was flying. She'd damaged one or two roof tiles on her way there. Hopefully, the owners would chalk it up to nature.
"I was in the neighbourhood already. Had a feeling you might need my help, so I was already walking here," she lied—through her teeth.
However, Becca was so excited, it never even occurred to the poor mortal that she had called Cammy on her house landline. Meaning, Cammy couldn't have humanly covered the five-minute scooter ride in one, while on two feet.
Love does funny things to even gods, so what was a mere mortal? Her head was in the clouds! Clearly.
Not that Cammy was complaining. In fact, she couldn't have been happier. Distracted little Becca hadn't even seen her land—on her bottom again—in the backyard. Becca was far too distracted by the impending family-trip-slash-longest-date ever to look out her window. That, or perhaps Cammy was finally getting the hang of the invisibility charm. She had been working on it the past week or two with Matias—purely to study, of course. He was an excellent teacher, the emphasis being on excellent... ahem... anyway. Going by her sore bottom, she clearly needed more practice with her landings as well. Perhaps Matias was an excellent flier and could help her with that too?—cause he's an excellent teacher. Clearly.
Cammy massaged her buttocks a little as she stood outside Becca's room. "So? What's the situation?"
"Oh, my god. I completely forgot that I need something for all of today, all of tomorrow, plus the wedding—which we have covered—and something for the day we return. And I have nothing!" Becca had dramatically thrown open her door to show Cammy her equally dramatically disastrous bed. Whereupon her entire wardrobe lay bare.
"What happened to the dress Enzo gave you?" Cammy scanned the room, unable to see or hear the dress.
"Dad hung it in mum's closet because apparently I'm a slob and if we left it in my room, I'll damage it." Becca grabbed a bunch of her clothes and threw them on the chair by her desk. "He honestly can't believe someone would just give a dress like that away because I knew so and so..."
"Didn't you tell him the guy is a really good friend of my mum's and he didn't mind?" Cammy bounded onto the bed, causing a small avalanche of clothes to tumble to the floor.
