NEXT DAY
ZOE POV:
I got out of my car and knocked on Jaydas's door.
I waited a second before she opened the door.
"Hey girl," I said smiling
She mugged me and mumbled a hi.
"Can I come in?" I asked.
"What are you doing here?" She crossed her arms and mugged me. Why is she acting like that?
"What do you mean" I chuckled lightly.
"What do you mean? I have tried calling you for three days. I need you, Zoe." She said the last part in a whisper and looking down at the floor.
"What happened Jayda" I stared into her brown eyes that started to fill with tears.
"Come here" I opened my arms. She walked into my arms and cried.
I rubbed her back. She never shows her emotions in front of me. So this has to be something serious.
"I'm here now, so tell me what happened?"
"So you know me and Josh left for LA so he could visit the O'Nealens and we could take a trip?"
I nodded my head.
"So after we visited the O'Nealens we went back to the hotel. He went to the shower while I laid in bed. His phone started to ding, first, I ignored it. But then it was multiple dings after each other so I went to turn the sound of. That's when I saw Allena had texted him."
"What did she say?" I sat up in my seat.
"She said that she was pregnant and that she was pregnant with his baby, and that they never broke up and stuff. So I confronted him, but he was just emotionless. He just didn't care about anything that I had to say. So we started to argue and stuff. And you know I hate arguing and disrespect so I left."
"What the actual fuck, why didn't you call me?"
"I called you multiple times but you didn't answer any of my calls"
" oh yeah, my mom broke my phone and didn't want to pay for a new one. And I was grounded so I couldn't go out."
Jayda looked at me like I was lying when I was telling the truth.
"I'm not lying. I was arguing with my mom and she grabbed my phone and threw it into the wall. You know how my mom is" I rolled my eyes. Imagine breaking my phone and not paying for it.
"Oh, you need some money for it?"
"No, I bought a new phone today"
Jayda just nodded. I could see that she had been crying so I think it's just best if I say it right now.
"I have to tell you something" I turned my body fully to her.
"Your pregnant" I laughed. That's the thing about Jayda, she could be happy on the outside and have so much pain on the inside and I could see that.
"Nono, but me and Jalen went to the store the other day and guess how I saw"
"Who?"
"You were supposed to guess, but I saw allena. And she was talking mad loud. She was like screaming into the phone."
"So?"
"She was talking about her and josh. Just listen to this" I took up my new phone and handed it to her.
She put the phone close to her ear and had a frown on her face through the whole conversation on the phone.
