Today is the draft day both Jayda and josh were nervous.
Josh was ready to play in the NBA, he had been waiting for this day since he started to play basketball. His whole family was here. And some of his friends.
Jayda was nervous because she knew he would be drafted to a place far away. She doesn't know if she wants to move with him or stay and do a long-distance relationship.
Jayda was also happy for him. He had put sweat, tears, and blood into this game. She was ready for him to fulfill his dreams.
Josh hasn't even thought about the long-distance thing. That wasn't in his mind at all. He was ready to be drafted and be an NBA star that small children would look up to. He wants to be a role model for youths.
Josh had gone to pick up his suit. Jayda was in the hotel room with Sandra. She was there to help her get ready. Zoe was also there. Zoe and Jalen weren't together but friends. So she wanted to be there for him as a surprise.
"I don't know what to wear," Jayda said while looking at herself in the mirror. Jayda had straightened her hair.
"Wear that black dress Josh bought for you" Zoe answered putting lipgloss on her lips.
"Good choice," Jayda said and went to her suitcase and brought out the dress.
Everyone had taken a shower so it was just to fix themself.
"Why is everyone in my room," Josh said while coming into the hotel room. He saw makeup bags on his bed and clothes spread out.
"Everyone out of here," he said and pointed to the door. Zoe and Sandra groaned and huffed. They knew not to argue with him on this special day.
