I woke up today and got ready for my shift at the diner and to drop Josh off at school.

"Mommy? are you trying to look cute for Jackson or something?" Josh asks
I chuckle "No little bear, mommy has to work but if she has a surprise for you and your friends for lunch today" I say smiling
"I love surprises! thank you mommy!!" He beams
I chuckle "No problem hey Ash you still remember?" I ask
She furrows her brows then realization hits "Oh yeah everything is set and I've let his teacher know what we will be doing"
"Great thanks, come on little bear momma is gonna drop you off at school, grab a coffee then head into work" I say as we leave.
*At work*
I see my boss Chole she looks mad.
"Hey Chole sorry I'm late but to make it up to you I got you your favorite drink from Dunkin mocha latte" I say smiling
she chuckles "Thank you but you didn't have to"
"Well because I was late and the reason is I was planning something for my son and his friends for lunch today" I say smiling
"Aww what did you plan?" She asks
"I had my bestfriend and roommate help me his friends are gonna have pizza for lunch with Juice and for dessert Ice cream" I say smiling
"Aww he's gonna be so happy you are an amazing mom to him" she says smiling
"Thank you I try" I say getting ready for my shift
I head over to a table that has a customer at it.
"Welcome to Chole's diner I'm Tiffany what would you like?" I ask
"Are you on the menu?" He asks with a wink
I sigh "No sir, I'm not what would you like?" I ask
"A black coffee with a grilled cheese sandwich and homestyle fries" He says
I nod and place the order then continue waiting tables.
"Excuse me? I'd like to order"
"Sorry- Really Jackson?" I ask laughing
He chuckles "I had to darling"
"Okay what would you like sir?" I ask
He smirks and licks his lips "you"
I chuckle "Funny but food wise" I say smiling
He tells me his order then my phone dings.
Jackson: You look so good to eat ;)
I chuckle then get back to work until the end of my shift then I go pick up Josh from school.
