Josh comes in soon after and slams his backpack down "Young man what's your problem?" I ask crossing my arms
"Mom don't even start nagging me." He says going upstairs
I grab him by his hand "Excuse me? Who the hell do you think your speaking to?"
"My mother who nags and complains a lot."
I'm taken back "I brought you into this world boy I can take you right back out of it. I'm tired of your shit, and your newly found attitude. It's gonna stop or else mister."
"Or else what?" He asks smirking
"Wanna go to boot camp? A military boot camp? You'll change that tone there catch an attitude with your commander and see what happens boy." I say crossing my arms

I scoff "Really? Because the way you've been acting and treating me seems like I'm just some lady who what was it? Oh yeah nags and complains at you all the time?"
He sighs "Whatever I'm going to my room."
"One more time boy give me another attitude and your off to boot camp." I say crossing my arms

"Hey dad, you gonna scold me?" Josh asks
Jackson shakes his head "Nope. I'm gonna hit you were it hurts without touching you."
Josh furrows his brows "What's that mean dad?"
Jackson sits next to Josh on his bed "Your mother went through so much shit with your dad-"
"Yeah he hit her." Josh says
"He didn't just hit her son, *sighs* he raped your mother."
Josh's eyes widen "What does that mean?"
"He did bad things to her thats what it means she did everything she could to protect you from him. She ran from her family, her home, everything for you. You had no right to treat her like that. She loves you and Jasmine to death. She would do anything for y'all even if it means her own sacrifices. I want you to think about all that." Jackson says leaving.
