Tiffany is on the run from her abusive ex boyfriend Kevin with her 3 year old son Josh. What happens when she runs into Jackson McCall? Will he be her savior? Can she escape Kevin's wrath forever?
"hahaha you know it's funny that you'd assume that you can do what you want but once our son is here you'll be mine forever. I've found you hahahaha" Kevin says laughing
"I HATE YOU AND EVERYTHING YOU ARE!" I scream
He laughs again "I mean I could always, push you down the stairs"
"JUST STAY AWAY FROM ME!" I scream
He chuckles and pushes me down the stairs before leaving for the bar. I get up quickly and drive myself to the hospital.
*end of dream/flashback*
I wake up screaming and sweating.
Ashley comes running "honey?"
I punch her on accident "Sorry" I say shaking my head
"It's okay" She says rubbing her nose
"Is it broken?" I ask
"Nah, Just hurts but I get it, another dream?" She asks
"Man I don't get it, I'm a 1,000 miles away from him how the hell would he find us?" I ask
"I don't know sweetie, but it's almost time to get Josh ready for school want me to drive him?" She asks
"Please and thank you" I say sighing
"How about seeing if Jackson is up?" Ashley asks
"I might" I say
"And I'll make you some coffee" She says smiling
"Aww thank you babes" I say smiling and grabbing my phone
I send a message to Jackson.
Tiffany: hey
Jackson: Good morning! How are you?
Tiffany: Didn't sleep worth a shit, had another dream....
Jackson: about Kevin?
Tiffany: Yes, it's getting worse
Jackson: Are you off today?
Tiffany: I am why?
Jackson: wanna go rollerskating or something?
Tiffany: I love the sound of that I'll get dressed and message you :)
Jackson: Okay beautiful! I'm gonna get your mind off things today :)
Tiffany: I'd love that and thank you in advance!
I get up, take a quick shower, blow dry my hair straightening it, then I proceed to do my make up and get dressed.

After Ashley and Josh leave Jackson arrives and we head to the skating rink.
"Ready to get our skate on?" Jackson asks
"Have not went skating in years so don't laugh if I fall" I say smiling
After we've gotten our skates we hit the skating rink.
"You roller blade?" I ask
"Yep, I come here when I have time off I come here and practice it took me a a while to get the hang of it but I finally got it" He says smiling
"yeah you have fun with those I'm good with 4 wheels" I say holding on to the wall
Jackson chuckles and takes my hands in his. "I won't let you fall, I promise"
I nod. As we skate music and multicolored lights fill the room along with people, kids and couples talking and laughing. I start getting the hang of it again after years of not doing this in a while and I go a little ways on my own until I bump into someone.
"Sorry" I say covering my mouth
"It's okay Tiffany"
My eyes widen {what. the. hell. no. fucking . way. It can't be him! Right?} He gets up and smirks.
"It's good to see you again Tiffany"
"K-Kevin?" I ask
"yep the same" He says smiling
My heart starts beating rapidly "umm I thought you were in prison in Virginia" I say
"got out on good behavior" He says
"Oh okay" I say shaking a little
I feel arms wrap around my waist and I jump then realize it's Jackson then I relax a little.
"Hey sweetie, whose this?" Jackson asks
"hey, I'm Kevin"
Jackson growls under his breath but fakes a smile "nice to meet you, I'm Jackson her husband"
"Oh you got married Tiffany? Congrats" Kevin says smiling
"yeah, I'll umm be back" I say heading to the bathroom. I grab my phone and call the cops they soon arrive and arrest Kevin for breaking our restraining order.
"would you like another restraining order put in place for you and your son?" The officer asks
"Yes please" I say
"already he won't bother you again, try to have a good rest of your day" The officer says leaving
I take a deep breath of relief "I can't believe he was here, he could have done anything-I-" I say shaking my head
Jackson hugs me tightly I hug back.
"The important thing is that you are okay" Jackson says
"Yeah, Oh shit it's almost time to get Josh can you drive me?" I ask
"Of course, sweetie" he says smiling
We return our skates and put our shoes back on to go and get Josh.
"Hey baby" I say smiling
He smiles "Hi mommy!" Josh beams
"Have a good day?" I ask
"Yep and I see you were out with dad" Josh says
I chuckle nervously "Josh-"
Jackson cuts me off "He's okay, I'm honored he considers me that"
"Are you sure?" I ask
"yeah trust me honey he's fine, how was school son?" Jackson asks as we pull out of the school parking lot
"it was great dad, now I'm hungry" He says
I smile "what are you thinking for dinner mommy's little prince?" I ask
"I have no idea" Josh says grabbing his tablet
"how about I make you some chicken nuggets, fries, and some chocolate milk then after dinner you can have an ice cream cone before bed" I say smiling
"Yes mommy! is dad gonna be joining us for dinner?" Josh asks
"That's up to him sweetie" I say smiling
"I'd be happy to son" Jackson says wiping a tear from his eye.
