i woke up to the sun light shinning through my curtains and into my eyes. i searched my bed for my phone and checked the time, it's 9:30 am.

i noticed i had a bunch of unread messages from the group chat, so i opened it.

reiner: alright guys what's the plan today??

armin: annie and i are going out today but we're free tonight.

historia: so cute🥺
but i've gotta watch my little sister till my parents get off at 5

bertholdt: i have work till 6 🙄

scary movie night my house?

she's so fucking annoying. she hates scary stuff so i don't get why she's coming. whatever.

i had basically the whole day to do whatever i wanted before i had to leave for ymir's. i decided to take a shower in my bathroom first. i started running the water to warm it up before i got in.

i walked over to my closet to pick out my outfit. i chose a white graphic tee with orange lettering, black baggy pants, and i'll put my orange af1s on later.

i got in the shower nearly burning myself with the hot water. i washed my hair and body before rinsing and drying off. once i hopped out of the shower i got dressed and brushed my teeth.

i didn't have much to do today so i cleaned the house while i waited. after i washed the dishes and vacuumed the floor i went back up to my room to finish my book. before i knew it it was 6:30 pm so i figured i'd leave a little early.

i got up and put my shoes on. then i grabbed my phone, keys, and wallet before heading out the door and texting my parents to let them know i'd be staying out tonight.

i got into my car and started driving to ymir's. after 15 minutes i had arrived. i let myself in like i do at all my friend's houses because we're all so close.

"eren good to see you." her mother greeted me at the door.

"hey, are they in the basement?" i asked her.
