Finn Dalton never thought he would meet his childhood friend again, after all those years. Actually, he found it still hard to believe. But it was Boni, he was so sure of it. It couldn't be someone else, it was impossible. Right?

The boy always overthought everything. What if it really wasn't Boni? Or what if it was, but he doesn't want to talk to Ranboo again?

No. The boy shook his head to get rid of his thoughts. He couldn't concentrate on the game he was playing. His half enderman character just ran around the Dream smp, it was pointless. He was lucky he wasn't streaming on that moment, everyone could sense something was off.

"Ranboo? What are you doing?"

Suddenly a familiar voice filled his headphones. It was Tubbo, someone Ranboo would describe as his best friend. Tubbo knew basically everything about the boy, and vice versa. Ranboo was pretty sure he could give a half-hour lasting presentation about his friend. And even then he couldn't say everything he knew. And they didn't even know each other for that long, only a few months, which was crazy to think about. Ranboo achieved to much in only a few months.

"Oh, you know, just running around." Ranboo said, after he realized he hadn't answered yet. He sighed. "I'm just-"

Tubbo interrupted him, "I'm streaming!", knowing by the tone of Ranboo's voice his friends was going to say something serious about his private life. Ranboo cursed under his breath. He knew Tubbo was streaming, he just didn't think about it.

Tubbo sensed something was off with Ranboo. Well actually, eveyone did. It was very clear. The boy normally would've joined Tubbo's vc himself, but he didn't. That alone was quite strange. And now they were in a vc, he acted strange. Tubbo's chat had their suspicions too and immediately worried about their favorite streamer.

"Wait a minute Ranboo, I'm gonna end." Tubbo said. Not only the chat, but also the Brit was getting quite worried. He thought it was the best to end his stream, so he could talk to his friend.

After that Tubbo muted, so Ranboo was greeted by the complete silence again. It was weird. Normally, he would've put some music up, but now he didn't feel like it. He didn't even know why. He felt strange. He felt... not like himself.

With a sigh, he turned around in his chair. His room was a mess, just like his mind. Everywhere he looked he saw pieces of clothing, food or schoolbooks. On the floor, on his bed, on his desk, literally everywhere. His mother wasn't gonna be happy with that, the boy knew. But he didn't seem to care.

He turned back to his screen, where minecraft was still loaded. He quickly tapped tab, to see who was online.

Foolish and Phil were streaming and Tubbo was ending now, which was actually pretty good. He wanted to talk to someone, but didn't want to explain his feelings to more than one person. Only telling his best friend was perfect.

It was like the British boy heard his thoughts. Just when Ranboo wondered when he'd come back, he called him again via Discord. Ranboo picked up.

"Hi again!" Tubbo's cheerful voice said. Ranboo smiled at the sound of it. Tubbo always knew a way to cheer him up, even when it was just by talking. "Hi, Tubbo," Ranboo smiled in response.

"What's going on? I can hear there's something bothering you,"

It took a while for Ranboo to respond. That was because he didn't really know what to respond. Feelings were always a strange thing to the American, especially after Boni left him, ten years ago. It wasn't like he felt nothing, it was quite the opposite. He felt so much, sometimes he didn't even know what it was anymore.

"Honestly? I don't know," Ranboo sighed. It was the truth. He really didn't know.

"Well, what do you know?"

"I'm just confused, I guess."

"Confused by what?"

"I've told you about Margay, right?" Ranboo knew he didn't tell Tubbo everything. Not even close to everything, actually. It was such a absurd story.

"That's your new streamer friend, right? When can I meet him?" Tubbo's voice sounded excited. The boy loved making new friends, especially when they streamed too. It was just nice to speak to other people, who had the same passion.

"We should wait for a while with that, I think," Ranboo said, "but that isn't really what I mean. I didn't tell you everything about Margay yet."

Tubbo raised his eyebrows in surprise, "there is more to know?"

Ranboo smiled softly. "There is so much to know, actually. I've known him since we were kids. He moved away when we were like seven."

"Wait what?"
"Yeah, it's crazy. The thing is, he doesn't know I am Ranboo. Heck, maybe he doesn't even remember me."

"So that's what bothers you? You're scared he forgot you?"

"I think so?"

"So.... Why don't you just ask him, then?" Tubbo asked.

"I don't want to overwhelm him, Tubbo, you know what happened in the vc last time."

"Oohh," Tubbo spoke. "But, how do you know it's him?" The Brit was still kinda confused by the story.

"I searched up his minecraft account and his old username was the same he used on Roblox. We always played that together." Ranboo smiled, "Good old times."

"Wait! You played Roblox? I didn't expect you to be a Robloxer

"Tubbo- That's not the point-"

"Oh yeah, uhm, I think you should get him to trust you and maybe tell him later?" Tubbo said, "I mean you don't have to tell him immediately, right?" Ranboo nodded, although Tubbo couldn't see him.

"Yeah, maybe that's for the best..."

"Well big man, I'm really sorry but I have to go now, otherwise mother dearest will get upset with me," Tubbo said, after talking a bit more for a while. The two friends said goobye to each other and left the vc. Ranboo laughed how Tubbo called his mother. It was an inside joke between the two friends now, both calling their parents mother dearest and father dearest.

The boy decided to close minecraft. He had more things to do. But he still got distracted by his own thoughts a lot.

He thought about what Tubbo said to him a bit more. Although he really wanted to tell Boni, it was not a good idea. Tubbo was right. Boni should trust Ranboo a bit more and get more comfortable around him, otherwise it could take a wrong turn.

But after all, Ranboo was just happy to have his old friend in his life again.
