Thanks so much for reading my second chapter. Bucky will be coming in the next chapter! I know that is what you've all been waiting for!

Melissa's letter to her parents-

Dear Mama and Papa,

I have arrived safely in Brooklyn, New York. I already have a really nice, spacious one-bedroom apartment. I am getting along fine financially , so don't be worrying about me. I'm a big girl now and I know how to take care of my self.

I also have some more awesome news. Drum roll please!

I have a job! I have a job at this cute little cafe/bakery not to far from my apartment. It pays well, and I have made some friends along the way. I love my life here! I don't think that it could get more perfect!

And to answer your question Mama that I know that you are going to ask.

No, I have not found anyone yet, and I am not looking for romance right now. And not for the lack of opportunity. Trust me, I can't even count all of the guys who have asked me out or promised me 'a good time'. Men can be so bold and obnoxious!

Please send George, Simon, and Bella my love as well! I wish that I could write to them, but I don't have the money to send a letter all the way to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

I love and miss ya'll! I promise to visit soon!

All my love,

Melissa

Journal entry

My life started to fall into a routine. I would get up early, get ready, have coffee and breakfast, then head towards the cafe that I worked at. I loved my quaint job. It was simple, but fun at the same time.

Seriously, my life couldn't possibly get any more perfect! I have five of the best friends in the whole wide world, Chloe, Gloria, Tiffany, Miranda, and Jayla. A beautiful apartment in the best place in all of Brooklyn, and a job that pays very well.

Me and my gals go everywhere together. Especially after we clean and close up the cafe. We'll sometimes go take a walk in the park or go to the local bar.

Sometimes we just do a little window shopping before heading home. I thank God everyday for my wonderfully blessed life.

"Hey guys! Wanna play some music? It is dull in the cafe right now! Let's have some fun while cleaning!", Miranda shouted at us, who were all in the back, cleaning the kitchen.
