Thanks for continuing to read this book and I hope that you enjoy it! I think that there are only about 2 to 3 actual chapters in this book before the Epilogue, A Message From The Author, and the special sneak peek into the next book. I am kind of sad, but also I am very excited!

Just to inform you, this chapter is going to be very long, and sadly, it's the last actual chapter in this book. I know that you guys are probably like "Noooooo!", but don't worry, the sequel to this book will be coming out soon!

I was awoken when a streak of sunlight peeked through my tent flap. I felt Bucky's arm wrapped lazily around my waist and I smiled. I tried to get up but Bucky groaned, "No, stay in bed.".

"I have to get up, Buck. Both YOU and I have to report to Colonel Phillips by 0730 or our gooses are cooked.".

"I don't care.", Bucky answered, his face pressed into my hair. I tried to get up again, but he swung his leg over my legs, trapping me.

"Bucky, let me go or you don't want to find out what will happen.", I said, threatening.

"Oh yeah? And what will you do?", Bucky asked amused.

"This.", I said and I heated my hands up super hot and I burned him.

"Ouch!", Bucky jumped away from me. I scurried out of bed and smirked.

"That's what you get.", I said with my hands on my hips.

Bucky rolled out of bed, "Sorry, can you fix it?". He grabbed his side which was already red.

I thought for a moment, "Wait, I've got an idea.". I put one of my beads on the table and I grew an aloe vera plant. I broke a piece of the cactus of and I scooped some of the aloe vera out.

"Did you just take the innards out of that cactus?", Bucky asked with a terrified expression on his face.

I smirked, "As a matter of fact, I did. Aloe Vera is known for its healing qualities when it comes to burns. Much better than sunscreen or ointment.". I walked over and I carefully rubbed the powerful, clear aloe vera into Bucky's side.

Bucky winced, then his face cleared in relief, "Wow, that actually works.".

"Natural remedies are always the way to go. That's how people have survived for thousands of years.", I replied.

"Thanks, by the way.", Bucky said.

"No problem, honey.". I walked over and I put my hand on his cheek. I drew his head down and I kissed his forehead. I patted his cheek before getting dress.

I quickly put on my uniform, trying to ignore the fact that Bucky was staring at me. "Would you stop gawking, Buck. It's making me uncomfortable.".

"No.".

I put my hand up, suggesting that I would burn him. His eyes widened and he quickly looked away.

"That's what I thought.". I hummed as I got dressed. While I was putting my make-up on, Bucky came up from behind me and hugged my waist. He rested his chin on my head and just stood there. It was comforting.

"You need to get dressed.", I told Bucky.

"But all I have is the clothes from yesterday.".

"Oh, those will certainly not do.", I observed. "I'll go to the meeting tent and see what I can do. In the meantime, just wear your old clothes.", I said before walking out of the tent. I walked to the building to look for Steve.
