Haley's POV

We sat in our usually spot. Yes, I go to church every weekend to sing and spend time with my mom but mostly to sing. I don't really listen to what the pastor says most of the time because I go off in my own little world daydreaming. I do believe there is a god but I don't believe in the bible at all because it's 100 percent contradiction to me and plus some of the stories are missing from it. That's just my opinion so no hate.

There was an awkward silence between everyone so I end it by asking, "So mom, you remember that band I loved?".

She thinks for a minute and then replies, "Yes I think. Panic! at the Disco right?".

I continue, "Yeah well they are right behind me and we are all friends now".

The countdown on the big screen hits ten seconds.

All mom did was stare so I quickly say, "We can talk more over lunch today. Also, I'm part of their band now and I'm dating Brendon".

I turn to Brendon, kiss his cheek, and whisper, "I'll be back".

I run on stage, grab my guitar, go up to the mic, and prepare to preform.

Brendon's POV

The countdown hits zero and Haley began to sing. She was amazing at Barebulb but I didn't know she was this good. Her voice was so soothing and beautiful and perfect to me that it gave me goosebumps. I read the lyrics off one of the big screens while listening to Haley's voice.

'I must be the luckiest person on earth to have found someone like her' was all I could think.

I felt something tap my shoulder but I wasn't sure if it was real or if I imagined it so I just ignored it.  I felt another tap and I knew it was real this time so I looked to my left and see Haley's mom trying to pass me a pamphlet and a pen. We passed it back and forth writing notes to each other while I listened to Haley preform.

Haley's Mom: Hi Brendon. Nice to meet you. How did you meet my daughter?

ME: The band had our last performance back in December to get people hyped about the upcoming tour. I went to FYE the next day to buy a CD i wanted and I saw her. We officially met after she preformed at Barebulb that Saturday.

Haley's Mom: Oh okay. Do you really think she is a good musician? I don't. She was a way better chemist.

ME: Chemist? All I know is that she was born to be a musician. She is amazingly talented and deserves this.

Haley's Mom: Deserves what?

ME: Well after she graduates we are leaving to go on a world tour.

Haley's Mom: She didn't tell me that.

I was getting a little pissed off at her mom.

ME: Well maybe that's because you aren't supportive of her decisions.

Haley's Mom: I'm not supportive of an seventeen year old dating a twenty four

year old either.

That really made me mad so I quit replying and decided that Haley's mom was a douche just like her dad. I looked up to see that the singing had just ended and Haley was coming toward me. I smile and give her a thumbs up.

Haley's POV

I smile at Brendon and sit down between him and my mom.

He grabs my hand and whispers, "You were amazing".

His comment made me blush and I say, "Thanks beautiful".

That made him actually blush for once and I felt pretty freaking satisfied. It's so hard to make him blush usually. It got quiet and I listened to the preacher talk for two hours. Well more like Brendon and I passed notes to each other on the pamphlets they supply us with.

When the service was over I turn to look at my mom and ask, "Saigon good in thirty minutes?".

She nods and then we hug and say our goodbyes. I start walking toward my friends to embrace them when someone stops me dead in my tracks. It was the preacher.

"Haley, you seemed very out of it today. Is something wrong? and who were those new people with you that all the teenagers wouldn't stop talking about?" he asks.

I take a deep breath and reply, "They are a famous band called Panic! at the Disco and yes something is wrong. They invited me to join their band and I accepted so I can't sing here for much longer because we are going on a world tour two weeks after I graduate.." I kept rambling on and on.

I stopped immediately when I felt two arms go around my waist.

The preacher smiles and says, "Looks like you left out one little detail".

I blush because I forgot to tell him that Brendon and I are dating.

The preacher continues, "Well, we sure will miss you here but you're finally living your dream. Go for it".

I smile, hug him, and introduce him to Brendon really quick. We say our goodbyes and leave.

I decide to get the guys Sonic and I tell Brendon all about the conversation with the preacher.

Brendon's POV

I smile at what Haley told me about the preacher.

"I'm glad he supports you..and us" I say.

She says, "Yeah. He's like the parent I never had".

I felt bad for her because she had to grow up and take care of herself at a young age. She couldn't act like a kid when she was a kid and she didn't get that parental love that everyone needs when they are young. I kiss her passionately until I hear someone tap on the window. We both turn red and I pay for the food this time.

"I said I was gunna pay for it" she frowned.

"I'm the adult so as long as you want something I'll pay for it" I say.

"Awe. Thanks babe" she said.

That made me blush because she had never said that before.

I wanted to try something new too so I say, " No prob Hales".

Haley's POV

He gave me a nickname that I liked so much  I swear my whole body was red this time. I quickly drive him home, kiss him bye, and speed to Saigon.

ME: Hey. Saved us seats already.

Mom: Okay sweetie. Be there soon.

I think to myself about how awesome my day has been so far.

'Two hours of sleep, surprised a bunch of people at church and I'm pretty sure half of the girls hate me because I'm dating Brendon.Fucking.Urie.'

Now it's time to face my mom's wrath.
