Haley's POV
I have been hanging out with the members of Panic! at the Disco for a month now. Staring at Brendon on one knee was so shocking to me. I wasn't prepared to answer the question he was about to ask.
Brendon's POV
I was finally about to make it official in front of everyone. I mean we have kissed multiple times in front of them, so I'm sure they already think its official. Plus there was that one night in front of her apartment complex, but I still want to do it right by asking her in front of everyone. I look around to see everyone paler than ghosts and I look down to check myself and realize..shit! They think I'm about to propose.
Haley's POV
Brendon looks around and i guess he realizes what it looks like he's about to do and says, "Shit!".
He quickly gets up and says, "It's not what it looks like" and everyone, even Brendon, lets out a sigh of relief.
He grabs my hand and says, "Will you go out with me?".
I smile then frown and reply, "I thought I gave you an answer that one night".
Everyone stared at us confused and he says, "Yeah but I want to make it official in front of everyone".
I smile and say, "Yes. under one condition".
He smiles and says, "There always seems to be a condition between us before we do something. okay".
"Will you officially go to prom with me?" I ask and he says, "Of course".
"Then I would love to be your girlfriend".
We both smile and he pulls me closer to him, leans down, and kisses me. This kiss was different from all the other ones. It was more passionate and soft and there were more sparks than ever before.
Everyone hugs and congratulates us and then the boys do the same thing to their girls and vice versa. I feel bad for Ian though because he doesn't have someone. He looked a little depressed and then I start doing a little dance with a huge smile on my face.
"What are you thinking girl?" Najma asks.
"I've got a girl for Ian too!" I scream.
Ian immediately perks up and asks, "Who?".
That made me giggle and I say, "You will have to wait until you meet her later today".
He backed off and sat back down when Jordan mouths the name 'Aysha' and I nod. Aysha had another boyfriend after Jordan but it didn't work out well. He was an abusive, alcoholic, cheater and she knew that but still went back to him every time. Thank god those days are over between them.
I got sick of everyone being in my apartment so we went to the guys apartment for the day. The whole car ride there i thought about the false proposal. I felt my pants vibrate and pulled out my phone.
Aysha: Hey. I'm on my way to met this guy you were telling me about.
ME: Okay. See ya soon.
Aysha: Bye.
We all just did our own thing until it was lunch time. Brendon finally showed me around and his bedroom is upstairs and bigger than my whole apartment. I started making Ramen Noodles for everyone when I hear the doorbell.
I knew who it was so I stopped what I was doing and ran to the door. I pulled Aysha into a hug that I didn't want to end but Zack pries me off after five minutes. I introduce her to everyone and I see her eyes grow wider as I introduce her to Ian. I just smile and continue introducing but in my head I thought 'perfect couple'.
I ran inside because I forgot I was still cooking lunch so I finish cooking then we all ate and socialized. I caught Ian and Aysha in the middle of a kiss in one of his bathrooms. I just smile, apologize, and run off upstairs to Brendon's room. I start to think it's ridiculous that their apartment has an upstairs and they think it's small.
