Christmas was interesting. Busy. Hectic. Loud, both in the tower and at home. It turns out decorating Christmas tree’s with Bacon was, well, rather eventful. Lots of tinsel was involved and hardly any of it ended up on the tree.

There was also an increase in people on the beach, and that meant an increase in fans asking for photo's. I had only been there for a couple of months and the few bits of footage they had filmed had not been aired yet, so I was not known as a star of Bondi Rescue.

Digging holes with Harrison first thing in the morning was definitely one way to wake you up. Especially seeing as though his enthusiasm could be very dangerous if you got in the way of a waving shovel or sign.

“Oww!” I cried as I was treated to an elbow in the face.

Harrison gave a sheepish grin, “Sorry Tess.” he turned to place the sign in the whole then turned back, his huge grin returning to his face. “You working New Years Day? It gets scary busy.”

I smiled, “Yeah. Bacon is trying to scare me with horror stories about it.”

“How is it with you and Bacon? Any juicy details?” He wiggled his eyebrows and nudged me with his elbow.

“No juicy details, I’d tell you if there was.” I raised my eyebrows, “How are things with you and Charlotte though?”

I didn’t think Harrison’s smile could grow any wider, but apparently with the mention of Charlotte it could. His grin grew so wide if threatened to break his face in half. “Good, things are good.”

I was about to retort something about it seeming more than good when we were interrupted by a little girl about 10. “Excuse me.” she said quietly, trying to hide behind her older sister. “Can I have a picture with you and Harrison?”

“Me?” I asked, surprised anyone knew who I was.

The little girl nodded. “You are Tessa right? I’ve seen you on instagram.”

I smiled, chuffed that someone knew who I was and wanted a picture with me. “Sure.” I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and Harrison did the same on her other side whilst her sister took the photo. As they said thank you’s and left I could feel my smile threatening to jump right off my face.

In fact it was the only thing I talked about for the foreseeable future.

“I can’t believe someone knew me!” I said for the thousandth time. A day had passed and it was still all I talked about.

"Yeah," said Bacon, "Whoever would want to admire you? All you do is talk and talk and talk." He rolled his eyes at me. Prompting me to stick my tongue out him. "Seriously though," He said, wrapping his arms around me. "You're fabulous, of course that little girl wanted to talk to you." He kissed me quickly. "Right now move your butt and help me sort out all this food, I think we have enough but you never know with Maxi."

I smiled and gave him a shove. “Of course, You might want to go grab some more food though. I’m pretty sure we don’t have enough.”

He gestured at the copious amount of food flooding the table and groaned. “But look at all of it!”

Laughing I examined the table. “Nope pretty sure we need more. This is Maxi we’re talking about.”

Bacon groaned again and grabbed his keys. “I’ll be back in a bit.”

Nodding I heard him leave and began to gather ingredients. Hopefully this time I could make some cupcakes without getting half the ingredients over me or the kitchen. I turned up the ipod dock, spread out all my ingredients and turn on the oven.
