Yeji was so silent when she entered the classroom. She didn't know where to sit until Ryujin waved her hand and signed her to sit at a vacant seat beside her. Unlike Yeji, Ryujin is an extrovert who loves talking to people.
"Hi, I'm Yoo Ryujin," she lends out her hand and Yeji happily shakes it.
"I am Park Yeji."
"Nice meeting you. Are you new in the neighborhood?"
"Ah ani, I was born here."
"Jjinja? Why are you not familiar to me?"
"I just love staying at home with my Appa."
"You have a father?"
"Yes, his name is Park Jimin."
"I think I heard your Appa's name somewhere. Anyway, my Halmeoni owns a Kpop shop in Myeongdong and I always come with her to help in selling that's why I am kind of familiar with our classmates here. Anyway, if you have time, you can visit our shop. Are you into Kpop?"
"Not much but I like watching dramas especially the romantic ones."
"You will get along with my Omma. She loves watching dramas."
"You have a mom?"
"Yes. For sure you have yours too."
Yeji lost her smile, "Um, she passed away a year ago."
Ryujin nodded with her apologetic face, "I am sorry. Anyway, at least you have a dad, right?" she smirked at her and Yeji smiled.
"Yes. My Appa is the best."
"You are lucky."
Yeji creased her forehead in curiosity, "Why? Don't you have a dad?"
"I have of course but he's a f*cking douche."
"Don't talk like that."
"I learned it from Omma. He left us to marry another woman."
"Oh, I see. He deserves the curse."
Ryujin laughs, "Now I know, you're not that innocent."
Yeji giggled, "Learned it from the dramas."
"Anyway, the other woman is ugly. I don't know why that man chose that woman over my Omma."
"Do you have a picture of your Omma?"
"Yes, she's so beautiful like me."
"Let me see," Yeji excitedly leans closer to Ryujin as she unlocks her phone. As soon as she saw the picture she gasped in amazement, "You're Omma is so beautiful."
