POWER OF LOVE (seven)

As soon as Jimin laid his eyes on Jeongyeon and the businessman, he felt a pang of jealousy especially when he saw her smiling and laughing with him. It was pretty obvious that she was enjoying his company. Instead of going to them to greet Jeongyeon, Jimin went to the kitchen and he found Hoseok there.

"Oh, you're here? I thought you're going to be busy?" his business partner wonders.

"I just forgot something."

"What's it?"

"This," Jimin said grabbing a potato.

"Huh?" Hoseok weirdly looked at him but Jimin didn't explain and went out. He went to check on her again and she's still conversing with her company. He then thought that maybe he's just too delusional to think that there's a chance to make her his but he guessed that it will be too impossible if she's too frolicked with Min Seok. The guy can win her. He hates comparing but as he watches them like a creep on the side, he can't help but do it. He never seen her laugh like that with him. The guy clearly has a lot of money and for sure her father would approve of him unlike him, he's just a public servant with an average living and for sure her father would disapprove him for her. Jong Kook then saw Jimin's sadness.

"Just interrupt them Sir," the staff softly advised.

Jimin shrugs, "I can't do it Hyung..." He sighed deeply giving Jong Kook a tap on the shoulder. Jimin left again, now going outside to his car. He stayed inside wanting to cry but at the same time controlling his tears. He threw the potato on the passenger seat as he slaps his forehead. "Fuck this feelings! This is bullshit!"

All of a sudden, an old lady beggar tapped his window. Jimin rolled down the window and the lady asked him for a donation.

"Halmeoni, where is your family?" he asked so concerned.

"Can you help me son please?"

He got out from his car and interviewed the lady. Somehow he had forgotten about his broken heart as he talks to her and joins her to buy groceries at an open convenience store. He gave her money too and accompanied her to where she stays... at the side street by the garbage bin quite far from his restaurant. The place had a narrow street and there was a middle-aged woman breastfeeding a baby. With the merciful condition of the family, he offered them to stay at a social work facility for the homeless. They refused but he was eager until he convinced them to follow what he wants. He leads them to his car and drives them to the facility. Just as soon as they entered the building, the rain began to fall. The family couldn't thank him enough or else they'll be wet as rugs in the street. When he got back to his car, his phone vibrated...

It's Jeongyeon. He looks at her message until another thread pops up:
