POWER OF LOVE (eight)

Jimin took a breath of relief as soon as he heard her confession. He is glad that they are feeling the same towards each other 'cause if not, he'll definitely be so heart broken. He held her tighter feeling the water escaping from his eyes...

"That's music to my ears..." Jimin said softly still controlling his tears of happiness but he failed after a second. He never thought that this would happen, that she will ever like him back.

Jeongyeon stood and embraced him so tight as he mumbled, "If this is a dream, don't wake me. I like you so much."

If she was an ice, she would probably have melted feeling how sincere he is with his words. She felt how much he yearned for this. A part of her finds it unbelievable that he liked her way before. "Is this really happening?" she asks herself silently. The last night she was disappointed thinking that she was not the woman he was pertaining to and now he confessed that she is the woman he is in love with. What a relief it is!

She released him and no words came out from their mouth, just wide smiles and eyes glistening. She is close to tearing up too when her phone rang flashing Min Seok's name. Jimin reads his name too and no matter how much he hides it, Jeongyeon knew his genuine smile turned into a forced one. He told her to answer the call and she did but her other hand slips to hold his hand once again assuring him that he has nothing to be jealous about.

"Are you still there in the restaurant?" Min Seok asked over the line.

"Yes, I'm still here..." she sat back on her seat.

"I can come back," he informs her and she immediately responded, "No, I'll be fine. Someone will drive me home."

"Who?"

Jeongyeon looked at Jimin and smirked at him, "My boyfriend."

"You have a boyfriend?" Min Seok quite raised his voice, surprised.

"I have. You know him."

"Oh, jjinja? You're hella fast."

"You know that I hate waiting. Anyway, bye now. You're wasting our time together."

"Aigoo, you're always rushing."

"Bye," Jeongyeon hanged up and grinned at Jimin, "Happy now?"

"He knows me?" Jimin points at himself in disbelief.

"Mayor, of course he knows you," Jeongyeon sarcastically expressed making him giggle.

She then took a deep breath while leaning her head back on his shoulder and she calmly said, "I also opened up to him my feelings for you and asked for an advice. That's why he was here with me. Also, he wants to meet you too."

He nodded, now feeling a big relief knowing that Min Seok is really just a friend and not someone he should compete with to win Jeongyeon.

"I am curious, what advice did he tell you?" he asked.

"He advised me to just follow what my heart desires... so I did..." she smiled at him and cups his face with her free hand. "Now, you're mine.... Can you date me forever?"

Jimin giggled hard, "I think, I should be the one asking you that Miss Yoo."

"Well, you're slow so..." Jeongyeon lifts her head from his shoulder and gave him a playful smile as he looks at her, amused. He then giggled right after, "I won't deny that. I'm really slow."

"I'll forgive you if and only if you'll feed me with your dessert," she gave him a meaningful wink and it confused him.

"What do you mean?"
