Mimble's First Battle Alone

About a week after Mimble and I defeated Victor's robots, Alex got done with a surprise for me that was in the garage. He went to my room, where I was playing Minecraft on my computer, and told me that he had a surprise for me.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yup," said Alex, "and I think you'll like it. But you'll have to put a blindfold on. I don't want you to see it before we get there." He then put a blindfold on me, and led me to the garage.

By the time we got to the garage, a really nice, jazzed up car was waiting there for us. I didn't know that he got me a car until I took the blindfold off and saw it. I was really surprised.

"Whoa!" I said. "You got me a car?"

"I sure did," said Alex. "I got it from the closest dealership, and they gave me a great deal on it."

"No way," I said.

"Way," said Alex.

"And it's a Chevrolet Corvette, too," I said. "I love Corvettes. Thanks, Alex."

"You're welcome, sis," said Alex. "I figured you might like it."

Just then, Victor (looking like his former self), came into the garage.

"Hey, Lucy," he said.

I turned to look at him. "Oh, hey, Mark," I said. "What's up?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to come over to my house today," said Mark.

"Really?" I asked.

"Really. We can watch a movie if you like."

"A movie? I love movies!"

"Same here. Wanna come? brought my car, and you can drive it over to my house if you like."

"You got it, Mark."

"Alright! Let's go."

I turn to my brother. "See you later, Alex," I said.

"Bye!" said Alex as Mark and I left the house. He then decided to go work on an experiment, and on the way to his lab, Mimble came up to him, and asked about where I was.

"She went with Mark to go watch a movie at his house," he said.

"She went with Mark?" asked Mimble.

"Yup," said Alex.

"And she went to his house?" asked my sidekick.

"That's right."

"This can't be good."

My brother was confused. "What makes you say that?" he asked.

"The reason why I said that is because Mark is really our enemy, Victor," said Mimble.

Alex was shocked to hear that I was with Victor. "Ay, no!" he exclaimed. "I can't believe my sister did this! You gotta go save her, Mim."

"Right," said Mimble.

She changed into her supersuit, after Alex wished her luck, got into my new car, and drove off to save me from Victor.

Over at Mark's house, where I was at, Mark and I were watching my favorite movie: the 2003 movie of Peter Pan. It was amazing. I loved the part where I saw John and Michael's butts. It was so funny, for I laughed my head off. By the time the movie was over, Mark got up to go use the bathroom, but what he was really going to do was weaken me. He even told me that I can pick another movie to watch before he left the room. Once I found another good movie to watch, gray and yellow started to come into the room I was in. Right when I started smell the gases, I started to feel weak. That's when I knew it was my weakness. I winced in pain, grabbed my shoulder, and dropped to my knees. Victor laughed in glee. "Just like what I had planned. You're such a fool," he said as he entered the room. I looked over at him.

"Why would you do this to me?" I asked weakly.

"I just did it so you could work with me," said my enemy.

I didn't want to help Victor at all, so I told him, "I'll never work with you, Victor. Never."

"Okay, then," he said. "I shall take you to my lab." He then grabbed my arm, and dragged me into the lab, where he strapped me to a table and hooked me up to a machine that I didn't know what it does. But before he could turn it on, my sidekick came running in, and boy was she mad.

"Why are you doing this to her, Victor?" she asked angrily.

"I want her to help me take over the city," said Victor.

That made Mimble even more angry. "She's a superhero, for crying out loud," she shouted. "She'll never help you. Plus, you can't drain her from her powers. She needs her powers. And that's a fact."

"Double M's right," I said weakly. "You can't do this."

"We'll, you better suck it up," said Victor, "because it's starting right now." He then pulled out a remote from his pocket.

Mimble gasped. "NO!" she exclaimed as Victor pushed the "on" button on the remote.

As soon as the button on the remote was pushed, the machine that I was hooked up to started to drain me of my powers and put them into a bottle, and I screamed in pain. Mimble was now ticked.

"You're going to pay for this, Victor!" said my sidekick before she charged at Victor and started fighting him.

As Mimble fought Victor, the machine I was hooked up to continued to drain my powers from me and bottle them up. Victor really wanted my powers, but Mimble knew that Alex was the one who gave me all my powers, and that they'll never will belong to my enemy. Mimble then punched Victor in the face, for he fell to the ground, and was knocked out. He even dropped the remote for the machine he was holding. Mimble picked it up, and pushed the "reverse" button. Right away, the machine started to give back my powers. Once that was done, Mimble went over to the table that I was on, unstrapped me, and helped me off. She even unhooked me from the machine.

"Thanks, Double M," I said weakly.

"No problem, Lucy," said Mimble. "Now let's get you home. You need to rest."

"Good idea, Double M," I said. "Let's go."

My sidekick then guided me to the car, helped me in, and drove me home. When we got there, Mimble helped me up to my room, where I laided down on my bed, and began to rest.

Back at Victor's lab, he was furious that Mimble had saved me, and that I had all my powers again. "I'm supposed to win!" he shouted. "I need a new plan." He thought for a while, then decided to kidnap my brother, and brainwash him. He then started to work on making a brainwasher. Once that was done, he changed into some normal clothes, and went to execute his evil plan.
