After a few days of resting, I was back to my normal self, full of strength, energy, and power. Alex was in the lab working on an experiment when Mark came over to him.
"Hey, Alex," he said.
Alex looked up from his experiment. "Oh hey, Mark," he replied.
"Whatcha doing?" asked Mark.
"Just working on an experiment," said Alex.
"What kind of experiment is it?"
"I'm not sure yet, but it's going to be awesome."
"Okay. Well, I got something I need to finish, and I would like some help in doing it. Would you like to help me?"
"Sure. I would love to help you. I need a break from my experiment."
"Sweet! Let's go!"
"I might want to write a note for my sister first. I don't want her to worry about me."
"Okay."
Alex then gets a sticky note, and wrote that he was with Mark, and was going to help him with a project. Then they left the lab.
A few hours later, Mimble and I came into the lab, looking for Alex.
"Where is he?" I asked. "I thought he was down here."
"I thought so, too," said Mimble.
"Well, he has to be around here somewhere," I said. Then I saw the note. "What's this?"
"It looks like a note," said Mimble.
I picked it up. "You're right," I said. I read what it says.
"What's it say?" asked Mimble.
"It says that he went with Mark to help him with a project that he needs to finish at his house," I said.
Mimble knew this bad. "This can't be good," she said. "Remember when you went with Mark and he tried to take your powers away?"
"Yes, I remember," I said. Then it hit me. "Wait a minute. Are you trying to tell me that Mark might do something to my brother?"
"Yup, that's what I'm saying."
"Then we gotta save him. If we don't, who knows what could happen to him."
"Right. Let's go."
We then changed into our supersuits, bolted to the Lightning Mobile (I'm talking about my car), and drove off to save my brother.

At Victor's lab, Alex had been knocked unconscious, so he didn't know where he was in my enemy's house, or that he was strapped to a brainwasher. By the time he regained his consciousness, he saw that he was strapped to something, but he had no idea what it was, for his vision was blurry at the moment. When his vision became clear, he saw that what he was strapped to was a brainwasher. He tried to get out, but the straps held him down. Then Victor walked into the room. Alex looked over at him.
"What are you going to do me, Victor?" he asked.
"I'm going to turn on this machine, and it's going to give you information to help me in getting rid of Lightning Girl and Mighty Mimble," said Victor.
"I don't like the sound of that," said Alex. "Is it going to hurt?"
Victor laughed. "No, Alex," he said. "It won't hurt one bit. It's just going to all the info you need to help me defeat Lightning Girl and her sidekick."
"As in brainwash?"
"That's correct."
Alex had never been this scared in his whole life. He really wanted to get away from Victor, but since he was trapped, he couldn't. That is until they heard the door burst open. "Let him go, Victor!" I shouted.
Victor was shocked to see that my sidekick and I had arrived, but Alex was relieved.
"Just what are you girls doing here?" asked Victor.
"We're here to save mi hermano," I said. "And by that, I mean Alex."
"Yeah," said Mimble. "You can't brainwash him. We need him."
"She's right," I said. "Besides, he's the one who turned me into who I am now, and he gave me my sidekick, for he's part of my team. So please, don't brainwash him."
"Well, suck it up, buttercup," said Victor, "because I'm going to do it." He then reached for the "on" button.
I gasped. "NO!" I said.
But it was too late. Victor pushed the button, then a helmet went onto my brother's head, and it started to brainwash him. I was super mad.
"You're going to pay for this, Victor!" I shouted. Then Mimble and I started fighting my enemy.
A few minutes into the fight, I looked over at the brainwasher and saw that it was at 50% already! I had to turn it off. I told my sidekick to keep Victor busy while I turn off the brainwasher.
"Roger that," said Mimble.
I ran to the brainwasher, and found a control panel full of buttons and switches. "Oh, which button should I push?" I asked.
"I think you should push the red button," said Alex.
"The red one?" I asked.
"Yup," said Alex. "That'll put the machine into reverse."
"Okay."
I then pushed the red button, and the machine went into reverse, and it removed all the evil that was going into Alex's brain. Then I unstrapped my brother from the brainwasher, and told him to hide in the closet until Victor was defeated. Alex did what I asked him to do, and I went back to fighting. The fight then came to a close when I zapped Victor with a bolt of lightning. He fell to ground, and he was knocked out. Mimble and I then went over to the closet, and I told Alex that it was okay to come out. Alex then came out of the closet, and looked at Victor.
"Looks like he's knocked out," said my brother.
"You're right on that," I said.
"Yup," said Mimble. "Now let's get going."
"Good idea," said Alex. "Come on, let's go."
We then bolted out the door, got into the Lightning Mobile, and drove away. By the time we were gone, Victor woke up, then looked at the brainwasher, and saw that Alex had been saved. He was mad.
"I can't believe that those two won, again!" he shouted. "I need a new plan." He paced the room. "What to do, what to do. I need to find a way to get rid of Lightning Girl and Mighty Mimble." Then he had an idea. He decided to kidnap my sidekick, and make her work with him. He then got right to work on how he was going to execute his plan.
