Saving the City

The next day, Alex, Mimble and I were watching TMNT on TV. Michelangelo was my favorite out of the Turtles. Then my phone rang. Lisa Barganer, the mayor of Lansing, had just been kidnapped by my enemy, and she needs rescuing.

"Don't worry, Mayor Lisa," I said into the phone. "Mimble and I are on our way." I hung up, and turned to my sidekick. "Mim, we gotta go. Mayor Lisa needs our help. She had been kidnapped by our enemy, and if we don't do something, Victor will be in charge."

"Well, we can't let that happen," said Mimble. "We better get moving."

"Right," I said.

We then changed into our supersuits, got into the Lightning Mobile, and sped off to save the mayor.

Over at the mayor's office at Town Hall, Victor had tied Mayor Lisa to a chair, and when he was done with that, he sat down at the desk.

"Finally," he said. "The city is mine. Nothing can stop me now that I'm mayor."

That's when Mimble and I came running into the office. "That's what you think!" I said.

Victor was shocked to see me and my sidekick, but Mayor Lisa was happy to see us.

"You better let Ms. Barganer go, or else you're going to jail!" I said.

"Jail?!" asked Victor.

"Yup," said my sidekick. "That's where all the criminals go after getting arrested by the police, once they commit a crime. And you have committed a serious crime."

"Really?" asked Victor.

"Yup," I said. "You took over the city, and that's not a good thing. In order to become mayor, you have to be elected into office, not take over."

"What LG said," said my sidekick.

"Now let's fight," I said. "If Double M and I win, then you're going to jail. If you win — well, let's not go that far. You'll just lose anyway."

"Yeah, right," said Victor. "I'm going to win."

"Is that a challenge?" asked Mimble.

"It sure is," said Victor.

"Bring it on!" I said, and the battle began.

The battle lasted for thirty minutes, and when I kicked him in the chest, he fell to the ground, right when the police chief came in. He looked at my enemy.

"Well, well, well," he said. "What do we have here?"

"A villain, Sir," I said. "He tried to take over the city, but Double M and I defeated him."

The police chief was proud of us, and he said that we did a great job. Then Victor got up, and he looked at the police chief. He was shocked.

"What?!" he said. "The police chief?! What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to arrest you for taking over the city," said the police chief.

"That's right," I said.

"Your villain days are over," said Mimble.

"And your criminal days had just begun," I said. I then turned to the police chief. "Take him away, Sir. I don't want to look at him anymore."

"Sure thing," said the police chief. He then turned to Victor. "You're coming with me. And don't give me a hard time." He then handcuffed Victor, and took him to jail.

Once they were gone, Mimble and I then went over to the mayor, and freed her. She was proud of us for saving her and the city, and decided to have a celebration for me and my sidekick at 5:00pm right in front of Town Hall to address the city about how Mimble and I saved her and the city, and said that she will have a surprise for me and my sidekick.

Mimble and I liked that idea, and we went home to get ready for the celebration.
