Y/n pov:

Hange: I-I... I... I...

I was standing there in complete fear that she'd reject me. The next thing she did completely threw me off.

Hange: I feel the same way Y/n! *Jumps at Y/n and kisses him.*

After she did this, I sat there in shock for 10 seconds before I returned the kiss. Her soft lips pushed against mine. We stayed like this for a minute before we stopped to take a breath.

Hange: *Moderate blush* No fair... I was going to confess to you, but you beat me to it.

Y/n: *Red as hell* W-well... I knew I had to confess because I don't know when I might bite the dust...

Hange then looked at me with a concerned look on her face after I exclaimed that. She then grabbed my hands.

Hange: I-I won't let that happen! I'll protect you till the day I die!

After she practically yelled that, my face proceeded to get even redder than before.

Y/n: U-uh... Well, you don't have to do that because I'll be the one protecting you.

Hange: *Cute giggle* Well, let's hope that doesn't happen. Also, can we keep this under the table for now?

Y/n: Sure I don't mind. Can I ask why?

Hange then looked down to the ground in embarrassment for a second before answering.

Hange: W-well... I just don't think it's a great idea to tell people yet. We have a serious mission coming up and we can tell them afterward.

Y/n: Oh ya. I understand that you don't want it to get in the way of the mission. What is the mission?

Hange: Well... I can't tell you yet. You'll know when the new recruits will be here. Oh, I almost forgot! Do you want to help me with the Titan experiments?

She then proceeded to give me a pleading look just to get me to say yes.

Y/n: You don't have to give me puppy eyes for that. I'd say yes no matter what. *Smiles*

Hange: Really?! Thank you so much! *Hugs Y/n and gives him a peck on the cheek*

I was embarrassed after she did this, but we soon started to walk back to the training grounds holding hands. Before we got back, I had to ask her one more question.

Y/n: Hey quick question... Can I tell Hera? She's going to pry me until we confess.

Hange: Well... I don't see why not. She seemed to help us both, so she deserves to know.

After she finished her sentence, we turned the corner to see Hera leaning on the wall with Moblit. We stood there frozen for a second before we both got embarrassed and let go of each other's hands. But it was too late.

Hera: I told you that Y/n would confess. Now you owe me dinner!

Moblit: Dammit... I really thought Hange would've confessed first... *Chuckles*

Hange: *Turning red* Y-you were betting on who'd confess first?!

Y/n: D-did you guys follow us?!

Hera: Oh come on! No harm no foul am I right Moblit?

Moblit: I told you that we shouldn't have followed them, but you're right.

The four of us conversed for about 1-2 minutes before they agreed that they wouldn't say anything about us getting together for now. The four of us then proceeded to go back to the testing site. I found out that Hange named the two Titan's Sawney and Bean. Then, Moblit, Hera, and I proceeded to help Hange with her experiments for the next week. We'd also spend time together to get to know each other's pasts.
