ERIDAN
Oh cod no....... please no. I stared at the calender for about an hour straight, just begging for it to be wrong. March first. Cod, why is this m glubbing life?
I sighed and walked to my closet, pulling out a mini skirt and black tank top.
"Stupid Sollux...." I whispered under my breath. then something hit me..... Kanra.
It's bad enough that I have to deal with her 24/7, but if she saw me like this..... I'd never live this down!
"Ok, think Eridan..." I frantically murmured. How could I keep it from her for a day, much less an entire month! I heard footsteps coming towards the door of my respite block.
"Eri-chan!" she whined "Are you gonna yust lock yourself in there all day or something?!" Kanra yelled from the other side of the door.
Shit!
KANRA
Eridan finally opened the door..... wrapped in a blanket?
"I-I feel kinda sick so.... i might not be out for say.... a month or so...." I know that the comment he had just made should have raised some questions, but I had a different concern.
"Is that a ribbon in your hair?" I asked, holding back a fit of laughter. He blushed deep and quick pulled the blanket over his head.
"N-no!" He stuttered. Ok, even though I had only known him for a couple months, it wasn't hard to figure out that he was a terrible liar. I glanced at him suspiciously and placed my hand on his head.
"You don't seem sick." I stated.
"Well I am, Coddamnit!" He gave a fake cough.
"Well, maybe it's because that blanket's covered in slime! Here, give it to me, I'll wash it and you can go rest or something." I reached out to grab the blanket, but he jumped back, his face a burning red.
"NO! ON SECOND THOUGHT, I'M FINE!!" He yelled. I raised my eyebrow.
"Then un-burrito yourself and come out!" While he was off, guard, I snatched the blanket from him..... WHAT THE LITERAL FUCK?!?
"I CAN EXPLAIN!!" He shrieked. I kinda just stood there starring off into space
Some things can never be unseen...
