ERIDAN (HE LIVES!)

I ran into my dorm room to see my room mate, Kanra Lithom, doing what she does best... sitting on the floor and trying to both read her language textbook while dominating call of duty.

"Hey! Hey! Kanra! Gamer bitch!" I Excitedly shook her shoulder. She gave me a glare, but I kept smiling.

"Wanna go to a party?" I smiled even wider. She raised her eyebrow.

"You want to go to a party?" She asked suspiciously. I gave an enthusiastic nod. "With me?" I give her a confused look.

"Well, why not?" I ask. She looks at me like I just suggested to make out with her dog or something. I don't really understand why she was so surprised. I mean, I hate to admit it, but she's pretty attractive to most peoples standards. I mean, Kinda tanned skin, freckles, green eyes, curly dark hair. Hell, she made those thick, nerd glasses look kinda cute. This can't be the first time someone asked her to go to a party or something like that.

"Just.... wouldn't rather go with someone you actually know better? Like... that girl from the swim team or something?" She asked, putting a stick of Pocky into her mouth. I sat there.

"Well... I kinda wanna get to know you better... after all, we're room mates!" She still didn't seem convinced.

"Then why can't we just stay here! Play 20 questions! Sounds good enough!" She crossed her arms, clearly fighting to keep her social virginity.

"Please!! It'll be fun!!" I whined, pulling on her arm. She sighed and rolled her green eyes.

"Fine." She looked down in shame. I fist pumped the air.

Mission: Complete!

*Le time skip to the next morning

Going out was a bad idea.... a very bad idea.

The party had been going great... at least until the host, Gamzee I think? Well, he got stoned beyond what I thought was even humanly possible, and somehow, he convinced me to take a couple shots. One thing led to another, and I was now nursing a terrible hangover while Kanra, who had hung out with the wallflower hacker guy the entire night entirely alcohol free, laughed at me.

"Told ya so!" She smiled and handed me a cup of soup. I groaned in response, angry that she was right. She laughed a bit more.

"Hey, next week, let's just skip the sorority clique drama fest and order some pizza and play super smash bros, kay?" She gave me a smile and I returned one back. "Who knows, maybe I'll let you take me out for some starbucks, you're treat of course!"

I couldn't help but laugh, despite my pounding headache.

"Deal."
