A New Hero (TMNT X Reader)

Some Answers

   Looking at my laptop during class I couldn't focus on school. My mind was a whirlwind of possibilities and theories. Sitting in the back of the room hoping no one would sit next to me I stare at the spread sheet I'd made in the last couple months. The document had all of the recently missing scientists and the timeline of when they'd been taken. At first I thought it might be The Purple Dragons kidnapping scientists to force them into creating a weapon of mass destruction but the operation was too complex for them. The underground rumors of mutants and aliens got me thinking and I was hoping to get new information about the case from the turtles soon.

  The mutants obviously had nothing to do with the scientists disappearences so what was going on? 

  These dissapearences weren't on the News either. No one was broadcasting about the mass kidnappings in the scenitific community. All of the information I'd complied was from my contacts and the Dark Web. I had to triple check my sources to make sure I was right on dates and what their feilds of study were but something about the whole incident felt wrong. Why was no one reporting on it? These feilds were small and the people well known but it's like they'd vanished into thin air and no one cared.

  Companies had faked their employees quitting or turning in their two week leave and false documents were everywhere. Staring at the scientists letters of leave the signatures didn't match up or they matched up to perfectly. The documents had been photshopped and forgotten about and the scientists were left to whatever fate they succumbed too.

  I believe their disappearance had to do with the alleged "aliens" but until I saw the mutants I had no idea if I was right or not. Now I might be able to solve this mystery and bring these scientists home, along with an old friend.

  Scrolling through my list clicking on one of the scientists profiles, I noticed he was the most recently taken.

  Name: Kirby 

  Age: 48 years

  Expertise: Psychology/ Psychotherapy. Has a doctorate in psychology and several minors. Eight years of college and his Masters Thesis was on the Psychology of Kids Raised by One Working Parent.

  Occupation: Physcologist

  Connection to other scientists: Unknown all other scientists were bio chemists, medical biology, radition experts or something involving medical/chemical sciences. Mr. O'Neil is the outlier of the kidnapped scientists.

  Thoughts: Dissapearence could be unrelated.

  Pausing I blinked before zooming in on his name and profile picture. He had red hair and blue eyes and his last name was O'Neil. O'Neil like April O'Neil.

  I knew her name was familar.

   "Hey." Closing my document and opening up a school file I smile at April as she sits next to me.

  "Hey." I respond before looking away trying to gather my thoughts.

  This conspiracy just got a lot more complicated than I ever could have assumed. April O'Neil what were you hiding?

  School was rocky after my encounter with April. I was worried she saw my screen with her fathers name and picture but if she had she hadn't said anything. We apprentally had Biology and Trignometry together but all our other classes were separate... Something I hadn't known before hand which is weird because I make it a habit to know everyone in the class just in case of emergencies. April seemed normal enough but... I couldn't shake off that something was wrong. My feeling about April had been right before so should I follow my instincts? All I knew was she was involved somehow but I wasn't even sure of that. I didn't have enough evidence.
