At the Liar

Raphael's P.O.V

   "Shadow huh?" Raph whispered watching as they disappeared. "Cool." Staring at where they'd been and than at his hand he shook his head as he smiled.

   He wasn't really sure what to think of you but you definitely seemed like a badass. He hoped he'd be able to meet and talk to you again. Maybe without all the invasive questions about him and his brother and the Krang but still. He'd like to talk to you again, find out your deal.

   You were clearly skilled and very well trained. You genuinely seemed to care as well. You wanted to help. And the way you reacted to seeing him. You weren't afraid... you'd called him a hero. 

  Still smiling Raph paused shaking his head. He wasn't sure if he could trust you yet, he had no idea who you were and he had to remember that. As he stood there deep in thought the night slowly got darker as the air got colder. 

   Feeling something vibrate against his shell he snapped out of his haze. Looking down Raph saw that his T-phone was glowing and shaking against his belt.

  "What do those shell heads want?" He questioned before rolling his eyes as he answered the phone agitated. Watching Leo's name pop up he grumbled some curses under his breath. Great. 

   "What do you want oh fearless leader?" Raph questioned sarcastically as he turned away from where the ninja had disappeared too and looked towards the sewer grate in front of him. 

   "Dad wants you home, you left way earlier than were supposed too and you didn't tell us where you were going." Leo stated. Hearing the worry in his brothers voice Raph clenches and unclenches his fist feeling a bit guilty. The anger in his chest still burned but after beating up a purple dragon and meeting you his anger was less intense than usual.

    He frowned as Leo continued to lecture him. He tried to tell Leo about you but his brother continued to shut him down. This is exactly why he'd popped up to the surface. And it was a good thing he did! Not only did he meet a possible ally in the war against Shredder and the Krang, he'd also saved a woman in distress and beaten up a purple dragon punk. God Leo could be such an idiot! Maybe if his brother hadn't pissed him off in the first place Raph wouldn't have run off to cool down! 

   "Well shell head I got caught up saving someone on the surface. Tell Master Splinter I'll be home soon and when I get home I have some news." Raph responded snappy. As Raph continued to clench and unclenches his fists he took deep breaths. Only Raphs brothers could interrupt at such perfect times, they always knew how to ruin his good mood and than blame him for his anger.

  "Fine see you than Raph. We'll be waiting." Grunting Raph rolled his eyes before hanging up the phone.

  "Yeah see you then..." He muttered before looking back at where Shadow had gone a small smile lingering on his lips. "... I hope."

   Kicking open the sewer grate in front of him he hopped into the sewers below. He had a lot to discuss.

   Walking into the lair Raph was still thinking of you. He wasn't quit sure how to share what you'd propositioned. He had to share with his brothers but at the same time he didn't want too. How does he even tell them?

   "Hey guys." He greeted calmly before he flopped down on the couch. As much as he was annoyed at being interrupted on the surface his thoughts kept wondering back to you, keeping him calm. Your insistence for information rang around in his head and he wondered if a team up was a good idea. Your passion for helping people, your need to save others. He was curious about why you became the Shadow about your skills and your talent.
