"Babe your phones ringing" Kate groaned.Wallace rolled over, he opened his eyes and looked at the clock, "Who the hell is calling at four in the morning"
He sits up and grabs his phone, "Hello?"
"Wallace Grant?"
"Yes. Who is this?" He rubs his face.
"Ollie"
"Ollie who?"
"You don't remember me?"
Wallace didn't answer.
"Of course you don't, you left this town when you had the chance and didn't look back. I don't blame you though"
Wallace let out a breath, "Ollie Jones. You always got in trouble with Mrs. Peterson"
Ollie laughed, "Is that all you remember?"
"You got busted with marijuana"
"Yeah"
"And you didn't do time because your dad was the judge"
Ollie laughed bitterly, "Don't talk about him"
Wallace raised his eyebrows, "You didn't seem to have a problem with him back then"
"I didn't know what he did back then"
"Everyone knew what he did"
"I didn't. You know as well as everyone else, I didn't go home much"
Wallace sighed, "What do you want Ollie?"
"It's Mollie Blake"
"What about her?"
"She's dead"
-Two Weeks Later-
Wallace stood next to the pond. His brown jacked flapped in the wind as he stared at the lake.
"What are you doing here?"
He turned around at the sound of a voice and came facet to face with someone he didn't think he would see again.
"Allan"
Allan smiled, he looked the same as he did ten years ago, just more tired.
"Wallace" He walked up and stood next to him, putting his hands in his pockets, "Do you have any suspects yet?"
Wallace let out a breath, "Not at the moment"
After a moment Allan spoke, "Have you talked to them yet?"
Wallace shook his head, "No"
"You should"
Wallace turned to Allan, "You've already talked to them, there's nothing I have to ask them that you haven't already"
"They're your parents Wallace"
Wallace snorted, "They were never parents Allan and you know that"
"That doesn't change the fact that they're your parents Wallace"
Wallace closed his eyes, "I know"
Allan put a hand on Wallace's shoulder, "They might know something. You know how secretive they are"
"They won't tell me"
