As Mori and Amelia chases Kiara, Kiara went inside a building
“ Oh no you don't! ”
Amelia then runs towards the building and told Mori to go to the other side in order for them to caught Kiara at the same side and nowhere to escape, finally, Amelia caught Kiara trying to escape the back door of the building but Mori stopped her with her scythe and spoke
“ Why are you doin' this, bird..? ”
“ S-Stay away! ”
Kiara then tries to push off Mori but the detective then pulls out a gun
“ One more move and I'll shoot!, put the items down and hands up! ”
Amelia exclaimed to Kiara, and Mori took Amelia's side then said
“ Do it bird, Don't make me swing this at you ”
Kiara then slowly places the bags down and then she raised her hand up then spoke
“ Please I just wanna save someone.. ”
Both Mori and Amelia were silent.. Then Kiara continued
“ There's this poor child that is horribly sick and needs medication, but I can't buy enough supply to save him so I started stealing.. ”
Mori slowly puts her scythe down as Amelia questioned
“ Why are you doing the things that is very risky for a sick child?, I know you are trying to save the kid's life but please, don't risk yours. ”
Kiara then answered
“ I am willing to risk my own life for the people to have theirs safe. ”
The detective then sighed and puts the gun down, Mori then walk towards Kiara
“ You're still the same bird as before, willing to risk her life to save others, ha.. Man.. ”
Kiara then looks at Mori as she slowly holds on the bags
“ Look, whoever you are, It's just my duty to save people from others that are so greedy and selfish ”
Mori then slightly laughed, Amelia asked Kiara if she could take them to the sick child and she agreed, so she took them in a abandoned building that is only 2 stories tall, Kiara then gave the medications to the sick child.
“ Kiara-san, Who are they? I thought people outside aren't suppose to be here.. ”
The kid asked then Kiara answered
“ yeah, but It's fine, they're allowed to come here ”
Mori then noticed that the kid will no longer be able to stay in the surface for too long, so she walks to the kid and said to him
“ I'm afraid you won't live that long now kiddo.. ”
Kiara then exclaimed
“ DON'T SAY THAT! YOU DON'T KNOW IF HE'S GONNA DIE OR NOT! ”
“ I'm a Reaper, Kiara, I can see the people who no longer have much time living in this world.. I know it's making you mad but I can't do anything about it, It's my job ”
Said Mori, Amelia then comforts Kiara saying that it will be alright
“ It's okay, Kiara, I know you did a lot of things for this kid, and even risking your life with it.. But Calliope is right, there's nothing we can do when the time comes ”
Kiara started crying, when the kid saw Kiara crying he then cried as well, Mori then walks to Kiara and patted her shoulder
“ Remember, Whatever happens now, Just let it happen, Okay? ”
As the three girls said goodbye to the kid, so as the kid, Mori then saw the kid's souls and a shed of light came out of the corner, all Mori has to do is to Guide the kid's spirit to the heavens and live eternal there. And that's what she did, she guided the spirit and fades away, leaving the three girls in the place,
“ Hmm.. ”
Mori then looked at Amelia and spoke
“ So.. What now? What's gonna happen to Kiara? ”
Amelia thought of the decision of letting go Kiara as she slowly sighed
“ I guess I'll let Kiara here get away with it for now, I'll pay all the items she stole from the pharmacy, then I can close this current case of robbery ”
Kiara then looked at Amelia
“ What?! Really?.. But I did a lot of things.. ”
Amelia then smiled and holds on her detective hat
“ Nah, I'ts no problem, sometime, people do the wrong things for the right reasons, and since the items you stole aren't that expensive so I think I can kick this one out so yeah ”
Kiara then thanked Amelia and she bowed, then Mori just smiled at the both of them
“ Oh by the way, Calliope.. ”
Amelia called Mori
“ Yeah? ”
Mori asked
Amelia spoke with a wink
“ I'm the Unknown sender!~, hope it didn't bothered you helping me solve this case~ ”
Mori's eyes slightly widened
“ Ohhhh.. ”
“ Welp, I'll leave you two now, I gotta report to the office 'bout this case ”
Said Amelia then left the building, leaving just Kiara and Mori, then Mori tapped Kiara's shoulder
“ Wanna go somewhere to get rid of that sadness of yours? ”
Kiara answered with a nod as she looks down, they started walking to a park, and since it was very late at night Kiara decided to go home to get some rest
“ I'll go home now.. ”
Mori then waved her hands slowly at Kiara and said goodbye, Mori then created a portal and went back to the underworld and went to bed as well.
