" A Kind-hearted Reaper "

Mori was hyped to start her shift because her lists is full, therefore she is going to reap everyone that is on her list, killing people and taking their souls is one of her hobby as a reaper.

“ Aight, time to reap ”

She slowly enters the surface and started walking to search for her first soul to reap, she then visited a small home where a man lives, she slowly tightens her grip on her scythe, as she gets close to the man she stepped on a creeky floor and the man heard the creek, once he turned to see Mori he was terrified of a 5-foot scythe pointing to his throat, he decided to run away but was unable to escape death, for death have already snatched his soul as he turns to run

“ Running is useless ”

Said Mori as she looked at the man's dead body laying down, she then left and went to her next destination, she visited a guard on a small village, his death is coming fast for his future is what Mori can see, so she walked towards the guard and the guard then pointed his spear towards Mori that seems have a enormous weaponry

“ Halt! ”

Said the Guard but Mori stayed silent as she kept walking towards the man and stopped in front of the spear, she then used her index finger to push the spear out of her way, terrified, the guard was unable to move when he looked at Mori's black to dark pink eyes, staring at him with a small grin on her face, Mori took the advantage to end the guards life and seal his soul inside her pockets and went inside the small village since her next victim is inside it, she then went inside a home to a very sick girl and is unable to feel better after a few months of being ill, Mori looked at her eyes and the girl looked too, Mori felt a slight of guiltiness inside while looking at the girl's eyes, she can see how scared and how the girl still believes that she will feel better, but Mori can see how it will end, she'll pass away soon, Mori then held the child's hand and spoke

“ Everything's going to be okay, let me finish your suffering kid, close your eyes ”

The child felt warm inside after her hand was held by Mori, she did what Mori said, then her soul slowly leaves the girl's body, Mori then saw another shed of light at the corner and she slowly held the child's hand and led her to the light, the child was scared of crossing over after passing away

“ It's okay kid, You'll have a good life there, I assure you ”

Said Mori as a motivation to the child to cross over, but the child had a request to the Death herself

“ hey ma'am, may I see the cat near the road? I have to say goodbye to him, he's a stray cat and I was the only one able to feed him and play with him.. But I feel sorry if he comes here and see that I'm already gone.. ”

Mori then looked at the window and slowly sighed a bit, she slowly nodded to the girl as an answer to her request, Mori took the girl to the cat, the girl then suddenly saw the cat being beated up by rude and greedy kids, the girl pulled Mori's cape and pointed to the kids and said

“ Lady! They're hurting the Cat!! Please stop them! ”

Mori then looked at the girl and the kids, Mori then walked to the kids and slammed her scythe to the ground to caught their attention, once they saw Mori with her scythe, they suddenly ran away, crying, leaving the cat laying down, injured, the girl then ran to the cat, she attempted to pat the cat but her hand just passed through the cat since she's now a ghost, she had a decision and slowly stood up, walked to Mori and spoke

“ Lady, may I have another request? ”

Mori then looked at the girl and spoke

“ What is it? ”

“ Can you take care of the cat for me?, I would really be happy if you do! Please.. ”

Said the girl, Mori thought a while about her request, she slowly nodded at the girl as her answer, the girl smiled widely as another shed of light appeared, but it was next to the girl, so she slowly walked to the light and spoke

“ It's a promise? ”

Said the girl, Mori then smiled and nodded as she said

“ Promise ”

“ Thank you!! ”

The girl then disappeared in thin air as Mori smiled, Mori then looked at the cat, she slowly held it in her arms and hid it under her cape, she slowly took the cat to the underworld, since animals aren't allowed in the underworld Mori has to be careful in case something happens to the cat, the Death's first apprentice made a promise to a mere child spirit, she then went home, carrying the cat in her hands under her cape she placed the cat in her table and slowly added bandages to the cat's injuries, she then placed the cat to the couch and let it rest, Mori then sat down on her comfy chair and slowly fell asleep.
