You were late. Your period didn't come on time. You thought maybe it would come the next day or a week after, but that wasn't the case at all.

Which made you think maybe you were pregnant.

So, here you were now waiting impatiently for the timer to go off on your phone so you could see if you were pregnant.

Nervous setting in as the seconds went by.
