Summary: she's a girl and he is a wolf. He never knew his mate was the girl that caused him so many issues especially since they come from two different worlds and are enemies.

Fate has a funny way of bringing two people together.

Roman and his cousins Jey and Jimmy were stalking a dear in their wolf form. The deer was injured. The injured deer staggered into a clearing. Roman, Jey and Jimmy had the deer cornered. Just as they were about to pounce on the poor deer they heard the sound of footsteps coming closer behind them. Their heads snapped behind them as the footsteps stopped. Their eyes glinted with danger as they saw a woman standing there. her eyes widening in fear. Heart beating faster. her breathing getting heavier. She gulped. The deer took the opportunity to run away.

Roman for some reason felt a strange surge of electricity rush through him as he stared at the woman. Something about her felt familiar though. He never met this woman before this encounter. He felt the need to protect her like he could tell her anything even his darkest secrets and desires. Realization snapped inside of him; she was his mate.

Jey and Jimmy let out a low growl stalking forward. Roman growled at them as a warning, but they didn't listen. The woman took a step back. Trembling in fear. While Jey and Jimmy took a step forward. The woman accidentally tripped. Falling on her ass. Jey and Jimmy were about to pounce, while Roman was about to get ready to stop Jey and Jimmy. Feeling the need to protect this woman.

"No," The woman desperately gasped out holding her hands up in front of her.

Roman, Jey, and Jimmy felt an unbearable pain throbbing in their foreheads. Making them groan in pain.

The woman looked shocked. She quickly got up bolting away. As soon as she was far away the intense pain in their heads disappeared.

Roman looked at the spot the woman previously occupied. Rage and disbelief building up inside of him.

He found his mate but she was a witch. Roman let out an annoyed growl. Stalking off. Jey and Jimmy shared a look. Following Roman to the farmhouse that all three of them lived in.

They transformed into human form. They saw Roman in his human form, track pants low on his waist. Jey and Jimmy got dressed. Walking over to Roman. As Roman punched the punching bag hard. The bag swinging around. The chain making noise.

"Ro, if this is about the woman-" Jey started but Roman interrupted him.

"She's my mate, but she's a witch," Roman growled out. Punching the bag harder.

Jey and Jimmy share a look. Roman's eyes glowed red.

Jey was about to say something but Roman punched the bag hard breaking the chain. roman breathed heavily.

"You need to relax," Jimmy spoke. Making Roman snap his head in Jimmy's direction.

"Relax, I found out my mate is a witch," Roman growled out.

"She's new, I'm sure she won't know about the rivalry between werewolves and witches, we can use this to our advantage," Jey spoke. Making Roman's protective side appear.

"Don't you dare manipulate her," Roman snarled. Grabbing Jey's collar tight.

"Relax," Jey gasped out. Raising his hands. Roman gave Jey an icy glare before letting him go.

"I'm going for a run," Roman grunted. Transforming into his wolf form. Tearing his sweatpants. Roman ran off...

BONUS CONTENT;

Y/n ran into her aunt's house. Breathing unevenly. Her aunt looked up. Giving her niece a concerned look at her current state. Her niece was breathing heavily.

"What's wrong honey?" She asked. As she walked over to her niece. Who looked shocked. Her niece turned her attention towards her aunt. Her aunt grabbed her forearms. Looking at her with concern in her eyes.

"I saw wolves, and then I tripped, then something happened I was so scared and then I felt this energy release inside of me and I think I hurt them or at least stopped them because they looked like they were in pain," She spoke. Tears gathering in her eyes. her aunt gave her a look of sympathy but it looked like she was hiding something else.

Her aunt let out a sigh.

"Y/n, they weren't wolves they are werewolves, and you are witch, that was the energy you felt," Her aunt confessed. Making y/n's breath hitch. Her heart hammering against her rib cage. Looking at her aunt in confusion.

"What?" She gasped out. Looking more shocked.

"I thought you would go your whole life without your powers surfacing but I was wrong, come on I'll tell you all about our heritage, how to do spells, how to control your magic," Her aunt spoke. Leading her niece to the couch. Her aunt grabbed a leather journal putting it down on the coffee table.

Neither of them noticed a black wolf watching them...
