Roman stuffed his hands in his pockets as he walked behind Seth. Both entering a Flower shop. The door chiming as they walked in. A variety of flower scents hitting their noses. Roman wasn't paying attention to the flowers like Seth was. His eyes were on the florist. She was captivating. Beautiful. Maybe it was how she was naïve to things happening out in the world or her pureness. Whatever it was she was an angel. She made Roman want to turn good. Stop doing illegal things and quit being a mob boss. He wanted to know her. Every detail of her life. Every curve in her body, make love to her, she was addicting and distracting. The only good thing about his week. But on the other hand, he had to keep her away from his lifestyle. She was too pure. Seeing the things, he doesn't want to corrupt her. Taint her.

He only came to the store to see her. Buying flowers, he would give to his mum or his ex-wife.

He knew he shouldn't be coming back. He should ghost her, but he couldn't.

"Good afternoon, gentleman," She greeted them. Giving them a warm welcoming smile. She was an angel. She was just missing a halo and wings.

"Can I help you with anything today?" She asked. Looking at Roman and Seth. Her e/c eyes gleaming with happiness. It made Roman's insides warm.

"Uh... I had a fight with the wifey and now I'm in the doghouse, thought I would say sorry with flowers," Seth spoke. Scratching the back of his head. Roman hold back on rolling his eyes. The fight was mainly because Seth cheated on her. He doubted flowers would make her forgive him.

"Ah...Red roses and lilies are the best I'm sorry flowers or red roses or tulips they relate to new beginnings," She spoke. Beaming with happiness.

"Ah... I will go with red roses and lilies," Seth answered. She nodded her head. Her gaze snapped towards Roman.

"Do you need any help?" She asked Roman. His heart beating faster. Roman internally scolded himself to calm down.

"Nah, I'm good, my mate wanted the best flower shop in town, and I suggested your shop," Roman spoke. Making her flustered. Roman smirked proudly at the effect he caused on her.

"Thanks, I'm starting to think I will have to give you a membership card since you buy so many flowers," She joked. Making Roman's heart speed up. Seth chuckled. Smirking at the scene happening in front of his eyes. Shaking his head in amusement.

"I'll go get your bouquet ready," She spoke, as she walked over to the red roses. Grabbing eleven roses, she then walked over to the pink lilies grabbing six, bunching them together. She walked back to the counter. Grabbing a few baby's-breath. She sorted the flowers out. Before wrapping the stems with wrapping paper. Holding the wrapping paper together with stick tape, as she got the ribbon out. Delicately putting the ribbon on. Cutting it. She then curled the ends of the ribbon.

"You love her," Seth teased his friend. As they both stared at her.

"What no," Roman denied. Seth chuckled softly.

"Keep telling yourself that, ask her out," Seth responded.

"No, I don't want to ruin her," Roman sighed. Looking at y/n with a sad expression.

"Whatever," Seth huffed, walking to the counter. Y/n smiled as she saw Seth in front of the counter.

"Did you want a card?" She asked. She gave him a warm smile. He could see how Roman had a thing for her.

"Nah, it's all good," Seth replied. Her smile didn't flatter

"Okay," She spoke, charging him for the bouquet. Seth paid for it. Neither of them noticing Roman grabbing a single red rose. Walking up to the counter.

"I would like to get this," Roman spoke. Making her turn her gaze towards him. She smiled at him. Making his heart once again speed up.

"Of course," She spoke. Charging Roman for the single red rose. Roman used his card. Eyes locked on hers as he paid for it. He picked up the red rose. Giving her a warm smile before handing it to her. Eyebrows flick up in confusion.

"For you," Roman spoke. Making her heart speed up. She took the red rose of him. Their fingers touching. A rush of electricity jolting between them at the touch. Seth smirked.

She tried to speak but no words formed. Roman smiled at her.

"See you around beautiful," He spoke, before turning around and walking out of the store. Seth following him. Leaving y/n stunned, as she looked at the red rose then at the door...
