Disappointment flooded through your entire body as you stared at the negative pregnancy test. The one line on the stick glaring up at you.

In fact, all the pregnancy tests you took all showed a negative result.

Robbing you of your chance to have a baby.

Tears streamed down your face like a waterfall. Roman would always comfort you and say, "We could try again, don't cry baby girl," but this time it was different

You caught him staring at you through the mirror, standing by the bathroom door. He noticed the heartbroken expression on your face. though he made no effort to console you. just looked disappointed and turned around, leaving you in your own misery.

That was two weeks ago. Ever since then he had been distant towards you. ignoring you to the point you started to self-doubt yourself. Galina and Roman's mom gave you sympathetic smiles. Telling you that it was all going to be okay. That he'd get over it. But how was it going to be okay when he ignored you?

He wouldn't touch you nor even spare you a glance. You immediately started to think that he was going to leave you. so, you hatched up a plan for him to keep you. you decided after work to work out, learn how to do your makeup/hair in a sexy way. Hopping that if you looked sexy he wouldn't leave you.

Galina and Roman's mom noticed what you were doing and were concerned about your well being as well as your mental health.

Roman only found out through Galina. When she dropped the kids off. going off at Roman. Telling him how he was being an asshole towards you. how him ignoring you and being distant to you was affecting you to the point you were changing your looks to keep him. Of course, Roman didn't believe her. Shrugging her off.

Next, it was Roman's mum telling him that she was worried about your wellbeing. Finally talking some sense into Roman. What you were doing to get Roman's attention.

After that Roman observed your behaviour. How you did your makeup and hair, how you exercised it made his blood boil that you would change your appearance to get his attention.

He was ignoring you because he couldn't take the devasted look on your face when you took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. He wanted a child with you, but it seemed difficult. He knew ignoring you wasn't the best option. But he was hurting too.

Roman sat on the dining chair. Hands clasped together. As he waited for you to come home.

Roman heard the sound of the front door unlocking then opening the door. The sound of the door closing, then locking. Soft footsteps walking over to the kitchen. When you saw Roman, you fixed your hair. Making Roman's nerves tick.

"Can you just stop," Roman shouted, voice booming,

"What?" You gasped out. slightly jumping at the volume of his voice.

"Stop trying to change your image to get my attention," Roman snapped. Looking at you with rage in his eyes.

Something inside of you snapped.

"I wouldn't have to, if you weren't so distant if you didn't ignore me," You snapped. Tears blurring your eyes. Roman was about to say something but you cut him off.

"Do you even love me anymore?" You asked. Voice cracking. This question broke Roman's heart.

"Just because I can't have a child doesn't mean you have to be an asshole and ignore me." You shouted. Gripping your gym bag. You spun around quickly leaving the kitchen and going to the front door in a dash. Opening the door up and walking out the door.

Roman quickly got up. Following after you, but he was too late. You were already in the car when he reached outside. Driving way. Leaving Roman staring at the backlights of your car with a pained expression...
