PARKER's POV

"How am I supposed to find anything in this place?" I complained looking up and down the street. Ben followed close behind me and said, "This is actually pretty small for a college campus."

Smart-ass.

"Excuse me!" I said to a girl wearing a purple crop top walking by us. She stopped and answered, "Yes?"

"Do you know any Aeros?" I asked.

"Any arrows?" She asked tilting her head in confusion.

"Yeah, she's a girl about 18 years old, long brown hair." I told her.

"Ummm...you just described half of the girls here," she laughed.

I sighed in frustration, and she picked up on in.

"Why are you looking for this girl?" She asked curiously. She looked behind me at Ben who hadn't spoken a word to her and was still in his awkward clothing.

I just realized it probably looks odd that two guys are searching for a girl and doesn't know where she lives.

"She's my sister, and I haven't seen her in a long time." I confessed. I just realized she probably doesn't go by Aero here.

"Awe, are you surprising her? I love that!" She smiled. "Tell you what, she's 18, right? She's probably a freshman. If you go to the end of this street you'll find the freshman dormitory. The blue building is the female and the white one is for the males."

Good enough for me. People in this country are way too nice.

"Thanks!" I said. I waved and continued to walk down the street.

We got to the blue dormitory and went up the front steps.

"What's the plan? Knock on every door?" Ben scoffed.

"If I have to, yes." I said very seriously.

We went through what looked like the main entrance and then up the first flight of stairs.

I knocked on the first door. No answer.

Fuck me this is gonna take forever. There's 6 floors with like 15 doors on each floor.

"She's not on this floor." I heard Ben say from somewhere behind me.

"How could you possibly know that?" I sighed.

"This." He said. I turned around to see what he was talking about and he was pointing at a bulletin board.

I walked up to it and read the board.

"DON'T FORGET TO WISH THE RESIDENTS A HAPPY BIRTHDAY"

A list of names with dates next to them filled the board.

"What if she has a fake name and a fake birthday?" I asked.

"I feel like your birthday is something you don't mess with. Also if I'm right we'll find her faster." He said.

"Fine." I said heading back towards the stairwell.

I ran up the stairs and to the next floor board.

No one with our birthday.

We ran up the stairs to the third floor.

No one with our birthday.

I could hear Ben breathing heavily behind me. My heart was beating really fast.

Damn, I need to find more time to workout.
