PARKER's POV
"You, me, Cole, and Thomas?" Aero asked looking stunned.
"Yes. Tonight at 6:30." I told her.
"Where again?" She asked.
We stood side by side outside the entrance of the dining hall. Kids pooled in and out of the building rushing to get wherever they're going.
"Halavens. It's an Italian restaurant Cole has been dying to try. It's like ten minutes away." I explained.
I needed a way to check out Thomas. I mean after all none of us really know him that well. Aeros known him for what? Nine months now? Seems fishy for me to believe she got over Ben that quickly.
I'm not convinced that our father didn't hire Thomas "pretty boy" Buchanan to fake everything.
He could be plotting to kill us all. Who knows.
"Alright then. Halavens. 6:30. You, me, Cole, and Thomas..." Aero hesitantly said while slowing backing up.
I nodded my head.
"You staying here?" She asked when I didn't move.
"Oh yeah. I'm waiting for someone. But I'll see you tonight." I said.
She waved and then turned on her way.
I tapped my fingers on the straps on my bag as I impatiently waited.
Not even three minutes later he finally appeared.
"Ben! Just the guy I'm looking for." I quickly walked up to him and guided him away from the entrance of the dining hall.
"Oh god, what do you want now, Parker?" He asked cautiously looking afraid and somewhat irritated.
He wore a blue, plaid shirt with khakis and one of his arms was tucked away in a sling.
I don't even want to know.
"Remember that favor I asked you about? I don't need it anymore. But thanks anyway." I said patting him on his unharmed shoulder.
"Okay..." he said relaxing a little. "So you're not here to ask another favor?" He asked quickly.
"Nope, but give it time." I winked at him and then walked away.
As I walked away I passed Sarah-Jessica. Her long, blonde hair flowed with the breeze and her face brightened up as she spotted Ben.
I turned to see them greet each other and then walk through the doors.
What an odd pair.
They definitely were an odd pair. Maybe Thomas's whole family was hired to infiltrate our friend group.
That has to be the only explanation on how Ben is currently having lunch with a hot girl.
AERO's POV
I looked over at Aurelie as I entered the room.
She had the look of fake annoyance that she always wore when she talked to Patrick.
He sat at her desk scribbling on a notebook or something.
