13. Rain

Y/N POV

After Jay left my room and did my night routine, I tried to sleep but failed then I heard a rumble of thunder and I got scared. I have a bad memory of thunder because when I was still a kid, I saw a man who got struck by lightning and died in front of my eyes, and started from that day I always afraid of thunder. I tried my best to control myself but failed. The thunder kept repeating after a minute and it made me more scared, I couldn't bear it anymore, so I went out of my room and went to Jay's room while crying.

[Jay's POV]

I was playing with my phone and thinking about my plan to ask Y/N out since tomorrow is weekend, then I heard a thundering voice, thus I went to my window and saw it's raining heavily. I was still staring at my window when someone suddenly came to my room. I turned around and saw Y/N was crying. I walked to her to calm her down but before I have reached her there was a rumble of thunder again and made her fallen to the ground while hugging her knees and crying really hard.

Jay: (Came to her) Hey, are you alright??

Y/N: J....J....Jay.....I'm scared. (Stuttered and cried even harder)

When I was about to speak there was thunder again and she jumped, so without thinking twice, I hugged her tightly.

[Y/N POV]

I was terrified and the next thing I felt his warm hug. He hugged me very tightly and tried to comfort me.

Jay: Shh..... it's alright, I'm here with you. (Caressed her hair gently)

Y/N: I'm scared.....(Still sobbing)

Jay: I know.... You can sleep here with me, I'll keep you safe.

Y/N: Thank you. (She hugged him tightly)

Jay: Are we going to sleep on the floor?? (Chuckled)

Y/N: (Looked at him) Huh?

Before I could blink, he had carried me to his bed.

Jay: It's better, now you should sleep. I want to bring you somewhere tomorrow after we take your stuff from your place.

I just nodded and ready to sleep but then I saw him walked away.

Y/N: Where are you going??

Jay: I'm going to sleep on the couch.

Y/N: Why don't you want to sleep next to me?

Jay: (Shocked) Are you sure?? I thought you will feel uncomfortable.

Y/N: It's alright, I felt safe with you. Come here hurry. I'm afraid.

Jay: Alright...alright.... I'll cuddle you to sleep. (Chuckled)

I didn't know why but when he wanted to cuddle me, I felt really safe and I thought I have fallen for him.

[Jay's POV]

After a while, she finally slept. I looked at her tiny body and admire her beautiful features. I caressed her hair carefully prevented waking her up. When I held her wrist, I saw she winched in pain but luckily she didn't wake up. I took a closer look at her wrist and found her still fresh cut. I thought Sana or her minions must have done this to her. after I saw her wound it made my blood boiled but I tried to control myself then I went to the bathroom to take care of her wound.

Jay: (While cleaning her wound carefully) You should've told me this. It made my heart hurts. I promise to myself I will take care of you. I think I have fallen for you, Y/N. (Kissed her forehead and drifted to sleep)
