12. Familiarity

Y/N POV

We have been working on our project for more than 3 hours. I felt so sleepy, so I decided to rest on Jay's bed. Without I realized I have drifted to my dreamland.

Jay POV

Y/N was laying on my bed and at first, I didn't pay attention to her but then I heard a faint snore sound. When I turned around, I saw Y/N slept peacefully on my bed. I have to admit she looked cute when she was sleeping, I didn't realize I have been staring at her pretty face for more than 10 minutes, I snapped back to the reality when Y/N was shivering of the coldness so I quickly covered her with my blanket then I went downstairs to hydrate myself.

[Downstairs]

I was taking a bottle of cold water from the fridge when someone called my name.

???: Jay

Then I turned around and saw my mom and behind my mom, there was my dad.

Jay: Dad?

Dad: (Came and hugged Jay) I miss you so much, son.

Jay: (Hugged his dad) I miss you as well.

Mom: Anyways, where is Y/N?

Jay: (Released the hug) Ah... she is sleeping in my room.

Dad: (Looked at Jay puzzled) Who is Y/N?

Mom: Jay's soon-to-be girlfriend. (Chuckled)

Jay: MOM!? (Blushed)

Mom: Aww..... look at our son. He is blushing. Don't lie to me Jay, I know you have developed feelings for her. (Patted Jay's back)

Dad: Take care of her.

Then both of them left me there dumbfounded. I still didn't sure if I have fallen for her or I just felt her as my friend. I think I have to figure it out by myself.

[Time Skip – Y/N's POV]

I rubbed my eyes and looked around, when I looked at my right side, I was surprised to meet Jay's face. Our faces were so close and I could feel my cheeks were burning hot.

Jay: Aww... look like someone is finally woken up. I wonder if you always wake up while blushing. (Chuckled and pinched Y/N's cheeks lightly)

Y/N: (Closed her face with her palms) Go away, why your face was so close to mine?

Jay: Why?? I thought you like it.

Y/N: Why you made my heart beats so fast? (Mumbled)

Jay: What did you say?? Can you raise your voice a little bit?

Y/N: Nothing. Btw, what time is it?

Jay: It's 9 pm. Why?

Y/N: (Widen her eyes) What?? Why didn't you wake me up???

Jay: You were sleeping so peacefully so I didn't dare to wake you up. Anyways, my mom has called us to eat dinner, c'mon I'm hungry.

I didn't answer him then I saw he walked to the door and waited for me there.

Jay: Are you going to eat or not?

Y/N: S...sure.

Then I followed him downstairs.
