19. The Truth Untold

[Y/N POV]

It's been a week since that incident happened between me and Jay and through that week I didn't come to school. I thought I need some time to relax my mind and I also thought Jay would call me and explain to me but he didn't. Mimi had called me many times to make sure I was fine and she even sent me the picture of the lessons I've missed, about my dad, he didn't know about this because he went on another business trip and will return next month. After absented the whole week, I thought I should go to school again.

[Fast Forward-School]

When I went to school, all the students looked at me oddly but I didn't care and walked straight to my classroom where I met my only bestie, Mimi. When she saw me, she immediately ran and hugged me tightly.

Mimi: Where have you been?? Don't you know I was really worried about you?? (Released the hug and looked at her worriedly)

Y/N: I'm sorry for making you worry about me but I'm fine. (Smiled)

Mimi: What had happened between you and Jay??

Y/N: Huh? What do you mean??

Mimi: He didn't tell you?? Jay got transferred to the USA last week.

When Mimi told me that Jay had transferred school, it broke my heart so that was the reason why he broke up with me? but why he didn't tell me that he wanted to move to the USA? I had a lot of questions in my mind but I came back to my sense when Mimi shook my body gently.

Mimi: Are you alright??

Y/N: Huh? Yes, I'm fine and about Jay... he told me that he wanted to move to the USA but he didn't tell me the reason.

Mimi: (Nodded her head) I see.... I hope both of you are still in a good term.

I didn't reply to her instead I just nodded my head. I still doubted about his departure to the USA was the reason behind our broken relationship, I thought there must be another thing why he broke up with me and I thought I could only find the answer from Jake. When I was still in a relationship with Jay, I got pretty close with Jake but not with Sunghoon because he's cold as ice. Sunghoon never talks to me even once and I wonder why. I have to find Jake after school and asked him about this.

After I put my stuff in my locker, I immediately looked for Jake and I found him talking with Sunghoon so I called his name.

Y/N: Jake... (Walked to him)

When I approached him, he gave me his warm smile while Sunghoon just left us alone without saying a single word.

Jake: Don't mind him, he always acts like that.

Y/N: Oh...okay.

Jake: So?? Why did you call me??

Y/N: Ah... I want to ask you something.

Jake: Go ahead.

When I was about to open my mouth, Sana walked past us and started to mock me.

Sana: Tsk... what a slut we have here. After her boyfriend got transferred, she immediately looks for a new target. (Rolled her eyes and walked away)

Jake: Don't mind her, just continue what you wanted to say. (looked at her)

Y/N: Um...it's actually about Jay. (Looked down)
