Chapter 14-Cleaning out the apartment

*Deku's POV*

I groaned, as the monotonous noise of alarm blared and vibrated through my desk. I motion my arm to turn it off and as I do I lay and stare at the ceiling. I was mentally preparing myself for the events that would unfold today. As I start to sit up in my bed by swinging my legs to my side, I notice a sharp pain coursing through my lower back. Training yesterday was pretty tough, and it left painful reminder. I slip into the bathroom and take a shower quickly. I get changed and my stuff prepared. I knock on Kachan's door and he opens a few seconds later. He had his usual scowl on his face. He grabs his bag as he closes the door of his dorm and says,

"We going to Round face?" His ability to get straight to the point always fascinated me. So much confidence.

"Err.... Yeah, I just texted her, she said she was almost ready." I reply. Kachan goes downstairs, while I go to Ochaco's dorm to get her. After that, we both come down to join Kachan and we all leave the dorms.

"So, how far away do you live Deku?" Ochaco says as we board the train. Normally it takes me about forty minutes to get home by train, from UA, but since there was less stops on a weekend it would only take about twenty-five minutes,

"About half an hour, I live right next to the station, so we won't have to walk far." She smiles warmly at me, as Kachan growls at the sight of his phone. "Is everything alright, Kachan?" I ask the agitated boy sitting across from me. He replies.

"My mom says she's gonna be late." I'm a little confused at this since I had no context to this.

"Late for what...?"

"For helping you move everything you stupid nerd!"

"You invited her to help?"

"Well yeah! You think the three of us are gonna clean up an apartment in just one day?"

"Erm well yeah, there isn't a lot of stuff back at home since I moved out." He returns back to his phone and continues to scoff at something he's seeing. I turn back to Ochaco who's texting someone on her phone. She looks up to me after a few seconds and she says,

"So, my parents will be in the area next weekend."

"Right, that's nice. Will you go and visit them?"

"Well yeah, but... they've been asking to meet you for some time now," Right. I see where this is going. Not that I didn't want to meet Ochaco's parents, but it's just that I'm an awkward person. And I really want to make a good impression. And I don't want to disappoint Ocha---

"Deku, you don't have to meet them yet if you don't want too," Oh gosh, she must have noticed me panicking, or was I mumbling again.... Could be both?

"No no... its fine. If they want to meet me I will. It won't be too bad, right? And you'll be there so it definitely can't be that bad..." She smiles and the places her head on my shoulder, while resuming to text someone on her phone, I'm assuming her parents.

By the time we get off the train it was 7.46 am. We get to the front of my apartment, and I notice the new door on the front of it. I knock on the door, and the landlady was waiting inside. She gave me the new key for the apartment, which she said to drop off once we had cleared the apartment. I open the door and notice there a lot less broken glass and blood stains since the last time I was here. It looked like home again.

*Ochaco's POV*

I was a little bummed out that the Angry Pomeranian would be joining us. Things between him and I have been pretty awkward since Deku told me about the stuff he used to do. It made yesterday's training exercise unbearable when I was paired up with him. Not only was he obnoxious to have as a partner on combat practice, but I find it really hard to face him without saying anything about how he treated Deku. It was also a surprise to hear he invited his mom to come here. Not sure of the relationship between her and Deku and his mom, but I wanted to meet the person who raised this hellhound.
