*Ochaco's POV*
My day out has been quite eventful so far. The whole class spent the day out at the fair, well the whole class minus Deku. Being at the fair reminded me of our first date, and it made me miss him even more. I didn't think I would miss him this much... it's literally been a few hours. Going on a few of the rides definitely helped take my mind of things, and it wasn't like I was around people I didn't like; I was with my friends. The girls had split away from the rest of the guys after a while to get some food. We go into a pretty nice restaurant near the riverside, and we ordered some food. While the food was being prepared, we began talking as we usually do,
"So, Toru. How are things going with Ojiro?" Jiro asks, starting the conversation.
"Things are going well. He's meeting my parents tomorrow, so I'm hoping it goes okay." My mind replays to the time when Deku visited my parents. I tried reassuring Toru, trying to forget about the memory of my father with Deku,
"I'm sure it'll be fine. He's a nice guys. So, I don't think he'll have any problems with your parents."
"I hope so." She replies to me, "But how are things with you and Midoriya? How come he didn't come out today?"
"Things between us are great. But he said he has to go and see someone today, I'm not sure who, I didn't ask, sorry."
"That's alright. I'm glad things are going so well between the two of you." I smile back to my invisible friend, as another one of my friends begins to talk.
"What about you and Kaminari? Has he asked you out yet?" Toru turns back to Jiro who had a slight blush on her face as she slumped over the table.
"I don't know. He hasn't asked me out yet. I might just ask him myself, i'm getting kind of impatient just waiting for him, y'know?"
"Really? My tactics didn't work?" Ashido asks, almost offended that her advice didn't work on Kaminari.
"I mean, we are talking about Denki Kaminari." Jiro says sitting back up in her chair, "No amount of reverse-reverse-psychology will work on someone as dense as he is."
"True, i didn't account for his... personality."
"Stupidity." Jiro corrects her.
"Well good luck with that then. It's certainly a big decision asking him yourself. Anyways, what do you wanna do afterwards?"
"There's a beach nearby, we can go there, dip our toes in the water, and have some fun." The rest of the girls agree to going out to the beach for a sit down. I wonder if it's the same beach Deku took me to see the sunset. The one he said he trained at for like a whole year.
"Yeah, I'll text Kiri asking if the guys want to come," Mina says while grabbing a phone out of her bag. We chat for a little longer and our food arrives soon after. We get done with our meals and start walking towards the beach. It had just turned three in the afternoon, and we met up with the guys. They were already at the beach and were sitting on some sort of mat. Wonder where they got that from, and who brought it. It was no surprise when I found out it was Iida who brought it with him.
"You can never be to prepared for a trip," he says as I take my shoes off to sit down next to him. I chuckle as I admire his antics. A few more minutes pass before Kirishma changes the topic of the conversation,
"Can you believe our first year is almost over?"
"I know, it feels like just yesterday I was trying to find which classroom I was meant to be in," Mina admits,
"Yeah, we've all grown so much over the past year. We've been through so much together." I say as I reminisce through the events of this year, good and bad.
