*Deku's POV*

I remember feeling really tired out of nowhere. It's not the first time it happened. It used to happen quite a lot when the One for All vestiges wanted to talk to me. But this felt different. I saw Nana trying to say something to me as I fell back on my head, and I kind of knew that it didn't have anything to with my quirk after that. Maybe... maybe I am just tired. I have been working a lot harder these past few days.

When I opened my eyes to see a familiar sight. It was my room, but it was my room back at home. If I were to guess, it would have been at least eight years ago, as there was still a silver age AllMight poster in my room. I had taken that down in favor of the rarer bronze age 25th anniversary artwork when I was about nine. It felt weird. Like a dream... but not quite a dream? I'm not able to move my body, but I'm still able to think these thoughts so, it wasn't like an immersive dream. Maybe like a point of view type of dream? There wasn't much happening, and I quickly realize that I was reliving a memory. I was playing with... this isn't gonna shock anyone but... an AllMight figurine in one hand and Optimus Megatron in my right. AllMight was in space facing the morphed Deceptobot, and he was the last hero in his battalion alive in the battle against the Cornucopia of Conquerors, which consisted of multiple villains across all and every franchise of cartoons and movies that sold merchandise. It was gonna be an epic tale. One for the history books. As I moved my left hand toward the right, the right hand moved quickly away. I put down Optimus Megatron on the top of my desk and used my right arm to push a whole influx of those green soldiers from underneath my bed, but that didn't stop AllMight. He waded his way through the army and proceeded to Universe Smash an unexpecting Optimus Megatron. He hit the robot so hard that the arms had torn off him, and the leader of the Conquerors was reduced to nothing but scrap metal. The battle was finally over. ...It was a lot cooler in my head at the time, but I couldn't help but feel a great a mount of cringe reliving this memory.

"That was so cool." I heard my own voice say. Which was weird. I heard my voice, and I wasn't the one talking. I cringed again at the fact that back then I thought this was the pinnacle of hype.

"Yeah, I can't wait for the next adventure, I-chan." I heard another voice say. She sounded familiar. My kid head turned to face who was on the bed and it was someone I hadn't seen in a very long time.

"I'm gonna ask Santa for another AllMight figure for Christmas." I say excitedly to her. I'm guessing it was almost Christmas, and I was excited to get another one, "The new modern era suit with new support item accessories."

"Here's a fun fact." She started as she held out a finger as if she was going to say some sort of revelation, "Did you know that Santa's not really real."

"What...?" my voice sounded kinda heart broken. This memory became a little more familiar. I remember the time my friend totally ruined Santa for me. Looking back, it wasn't really that bad a thing. I was already nine and should've realized that we didn't have a chimney. I mean... there should have been more obvious flags, but I remember only really believing the fact that Santa wasn't real was because of the fact that people who lived in houses that didn't have chimneys still got presents every year. "What do you mean Santa isn't real?"

"Well... you know Santa isn't real. Ask Aunt Inko."

"Well... my mom says you're not real." Wow. Nine-year-old me was really sassy. I could see her face morph into a hurt one. Which was understandable.

"Fine! I'll let your other friends come and keep you company." She said almost threateningly. I felt an enormous amount of spite in those words. And I kind of deserved it. Even back then I knew what I said was wrong.
