*Ochaco's POV*

We just got done with breakfast, and Deku and I were walking back to my apartment, where my parents were staying. I tell him about how Mina and the rest of the girls are starting to catch on to how much more time we have been spending together. He laughs at how typical this is of Mina. It's pretty lucky for the rest of the girls that she has been preoccupied with Toru's and Ojiro's relationship, she hasn't really had time to keep up with the rest of us.

About half an hour of walking and we get to my apartment complex. We start walking up, and I check the time on my new phone. 9.27am. I told my parents that we would be arriving between 9 and 10, so we were about on schedule. I open the door with my key, and I see my parents as I go to hug them.

"Ochaco, my baby, how are you?" my mom says while she hugs me, I turn to my dad and hug him too.

"I'm doing good, really good."

"Happy late birthday," my dad says, as I pull away from the hug. "And this must be Midoriya..." he says in a rather aggressive tone, while looking him up and down. I have never heard this kind of tone come from my father. I was a little shocked by this, Deku hadn't done anything wrong. Deku stretched out his hand, inviting my father for a handshake while saying,

"Hi sir, y-you can call me Izuku. It's nice to meet you," I can tell he is a little nervous, but he is still as genuine as he normally is. My father shakes his hand rather reluctantly as my mom tries to cut the tension by saying,

"Come, sit down in the living room. Let me take your bags off of you both," She uses her quirk to carry both of our bags into the living room, with the three of us trailing behind. Deku waits for my father to sit down, before sitting somewhere near me. I can feel his heavy breathing. Things were for some reason... awkward. But it wasn't Deku's fault at all. Why was my dad being like this?

"So, Ochaco, how are things going at school?"

"Errm things are going well. They are hard as usual, but I can't really expect less when Mr. Aizawa is our homeroom teacher."

"That's nice to hear, and how about you Izuku?" what is with my dad? Why is he singling him out like that? And what's with the interrogation-like questions.

"School is pretty great. There are a lot of opportunities for us, like right now we are having to pick places to do our work studies."

"Work studies? What are they?"

"Oh, it's what I do with Ryukyu." I try and chime in to get the attention off Deku.

"Ah... right. So where are you studying then?" I guess my attempt was rather futile.

"Errm, well I was with the Nighteye agency for a few weeks, but I'm not sure going back there is a good idea."

"Why is that?" Why is he pushing him so far? Looking for every detail possible.

"Well, since Nighteye died, Bubble girl and Centipede have been struggling keeping things going at the agency, and I don't want to inconvenience them with more paperwork or anything." Is that the reason he didn't go back? He's so considerate. This was just frustrating me even more that my dad wasn't seeing what I see in him. I don't know why I'm getting so worked up about this, but I couldn't help but get angry at my dad.

"So where are you thinking about going too now?"

"She doesn't have an agency, but I will be studying with the rabbit hero: Mirko."

"Mirko, she's on the top ten. You must have a pretty strong quirk the huh. What is it?"

"It's a quirk in which I can increase my speed and strength."
